I make icons, but don't take commissions, and I RP. But I always love seeing my icons in the wild? It's like, idk, a warm fuzzy feeling.

I've RPed against people who have used my icons, although rarely because I make icons of characters I play so, yeah. Unless it's like, a dressing room that allows doubles or Dear_Player/Mun I don't get the chance like at all.

yes, especially bc i often make sets for my friends for free. sometimes i see people on bakerstreet using old icons of mine from like 7 years ago and die inside.

i haven't made icons in a while but i feel flattered when i rp with people who use them. i've also rped with people who have made icons from the screencaps i provided.

Most of the time I make my own icons cause my characters are kinda niche and don’t have any out there. Or the icons that do exist are heavily stylized and won’t work for rp. I don’t mind if other people use the ones I make though.

yes to both! never thought much of it. it's just easy to recognize and then i move on lol.

i think the only time i get annoyed is when someone takes something like manga colorings that are for personal use or specific commissioners and i know they're using them without permission.
