This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. ehhhh they didn't say this was a recent development, though. feels like a read in bad faith to assume it's only a symptom of the season when the 'keep' implies it's a long-term thing.

that said, op, your rp partners are clearly not a good match for you speed-wise. that's statistically unlikely to change, because both flaking and adverse rl circumstances are pretty chronic. your best bet is focusing your energy on people who more closely suit your needs.

thanks for not jumping to conclusions and for being nice - it’s much appreciated! :) because yea this situation has been ongoing and it’s a frustrating one for sure. just hope i can gather more consistent cr otherwise what’s the point of staying in a game. :(

yeah, tbh i find speed differences (on whichever end of the spectrum you find yourself) end up being pretty unsurmountable, same as writing styles you don't mesh with. no one's fault, but it will continue being a bone of frustration. the unfortunate thing is, people always overestimate their availability, so sometimes they're committing with the best intentions in the world - and then they surprise themselves (but increasingly, not their thread partners) by falling short.
