Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

I know it isn’t personal, you really are busy with your games. However, you have me the best ship I could ever have and now I’m stuck reading our few threads over and over again. I hope you can come back to this, but if not, I will cherish what we had in that moment. I’ll be taking a step back from speaking with you, give you space for when you’re ready.

it’s more like, I don’t want them to feel pressured so I’ll just keep a casual and distant vibe. it’s not like we discuss things beyond just what we want to rp anyways.

For a month you have sent me different excuses as to why you're away from your computer for days or physically unable to tag. Don't you know I can see you threading with our friends? Is it so hard to be respectful and say "I can't make time for our threads right now"? I don't mind, we're all busy! But these unnecessary lies make me feel like you think I'm an especially stupid and unobservant person who doesn't deserve honesty.

I hate to say it because I don't want to kick mud on someone else having fun with threads, and it's great you have a new shiny fandom to play in, so I don't begrudge you that... BUT.. it is kind of annoying that you toss me a crumb of a tag once in a blue moon while boomeranging with and gushing over your new hotness and how busy you are with so many threads with them. Kinda makes me feel like I'm an afterthought, and I'm already losing interest in the character dynamic, so I'll just wish you the best and move on to people who actually have interest in our threads.

I'd bring it up with you but we aren't really "friends" and I'm not entitled to your attention or threads, it's just a minor peeve I had to vent on.

i told you the thing you wrote for the project was too damn long. months ago! but you were like, "aw, anon, i know my style's kinda tl;dr, but you should have more faith in people and their attention spans. these folks are smart! i'm sure they'll be fine."

now i'm getting external feedback that your part of the project was tl;dr. and i decidedly didn't ask.

i'm keeping my mouth shut for now, because nobody is seriously complaining and you're happy, which tbh all that i care about. but the next time you ask me for constructive feedback, please know that i've got copyedited redlines and an "i fucking told you so" all lined up.

Just take a break from RP. You don't have the time for it right now, and it's clearly something that's not helping with your stress and mental health because every time you talk about it you spiral into self-deprecating 'jokes' and talking yourself out of participating in any of the opportunities that people do give you to actually start something. It is an exhausting cycle to watch and I can only imagine it's worse to be caught in.

as someone who used to be like this and then sighed, accepted reality and dropped the game: co-signed. I hope whoever this isn't being sent to has the realization in the least stressful possible way (or has a resolution of the conflicting issues).
