rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

last year around this time I was struggling with harassmen, had tags all the time and did them but no confidence while doing so, and basically was just struggling all around.

this year im in with new and old friends and much more comfortable and playing again and finding my confidence again. I get to be silly with my writing and really enjoy myself and I'm really happy I didn't give up and quit last year.

reconnected with a good friend on here that i fell out of touch with and it's felt very warm and cozy.

I complained about having an empty inbox, took your guys advice, and now I’m drowning in tags. I don’t feel bad when people drop my tags or my ships end/get dropped because here comes more stuff!!

that's so awesome anon!

this has been my approach for years with a handful of characters. one of the biggest upsides is that if you also keep topvelleling while tagging back reliably, you'll start to get more takers there too just from people noticing you being active.

only real problem i've had is biting off more than i can chew when more people actually tag me back than expected.

In September, I got an anon compliment from someone saying that my version of a character was their favorite. It still makes me super happy thinking about it, ty anon.

Writing some of the sexiest PSLs and threads right now. RL takes swings at me but at least I have these tags to look forward to. Blowing kisses at you talented writers. You are my sunshine.

I've been totally out of the RP scene for over a year because of RL difficulties, but I am finally playing a really popular game for the first time and I am so stoked to finish it so I can RP one of the main characters. This is the first time I've felt inspired in ages and I think this is going to be really good for getting back into everything. I can't wait!

planning a new thread with my fave rp partner where my blorbo is gonna meet someone new (a character of my rp partner's I've long wanted CR with) and hopefully have a dramatic, terrible, and hilarious time... excited!
