was into this canon for a hot minute at first but ended up dropping it like right before the endeavor arc or smth for shinier pastures...ive heard rumblings about an ending but haven't osmosed a lot yet and im too lazy to dig. anybody up for dropping some cliffnotes?

it did end, and some people liked the ending and some people hated it. same as any canon. i think it ended in a way that made sense for the story that was being told and enjoyed it well enough.

It didn't blow me away, but it was alright. The hate seems to be mostly driven by 4chan trolls who are upset that the main character didn't become an Alpha stud or end up with the girl after the time skip. This is one of the rare shounen endings where the main heterosexual couple doesn't get paired up, but you do get a vaguely suggestive BakuDeku moment at the very end.

tbf the ending was open-ended in the sense that they could be paired up or they could not be, canon doesn't say anything concrete either way so you can interpret it how you want. there's really no reason to be angry about that part no matter which side you're on.

I personally wouldn't have given Izuku the powered suit because it cheapens him sacrificing his quirk, but I want to believe that everyone whining that "Oh, his friends ditched him for eight years" are younger people. Sometimes your lives go in different directions! You get busy! That can happen when you're an adult!

Also, when people were dropping fake spoilers with "Kota and Eri walk to UA holding hands" was when I realized "oh, they're just making up shit."

Eh, it's more accurate to say the people whining about his friends ditching him just can't read. He said it's harder to see each other because of work, not that they aren't seeing each other at all. Not to mention that suit cost more than any of them could've made individually throughout their careers, but the class spent over 5 years after graduation investing in one for him. That's not exactly something you do for a person you forgot about.

I don't know if it's just the nostalgia hitting real hard, but the last two parts (Cosmos) just dropped. Watched it in one go. Now I'm all emotional and shit. I'm 40+ years old!! I'm not supposed to get all misty eyed!

They didn't reach my region's Netflix yet before the subscription ran out, sadly, but I was the same way watching Eternal, just... sky-high and emotional and it was so fun and beautiful. I love Sailor Moon...
