Vampire/human PSL

Do you have a vampire character? Do you like mind-fuckery and toxic, mutually harmful relationships? Hey, me too!

Well, okay, my character isn't a vampire - she is a living human who has been attacked and fed on by a vampire, but has not died and become a vampire herself. While a vampire draining you of blood SHOULD be enough to kill you, my character didn't die in the attack: instead, she suddenly and inexplicably manifested the power to (briefly) mind-control others around her, both human and vampire. She managed to survive the attack by compelling her attacker to flee the scene.

Anyway, now my character's goal is to hunt down and kill the vampire who attacked her. Only... she doesn't actually know how to kill vampires. Up until the attack, she thought they were fictional monsters! That's where your character comes in: another vampire who is willing to help her take down the vampire who attacked her. Why does your character want to kill a fellow vampire? Why does your character feel the need to help some random human turn into a vampire slayer? That's up to you!

In a perfect world, I'd really like this to be a long PSL in which our characters form and build a close relationship over time, but it's a toxic relationship in which neither party really trusts the other. The vampire doesn't want to get mind-controlled by a juice box and the human doesn't want to get killed or turned into a vampire - but they need to stick together to achieve their goals. Mind-control, mind-reading, blood, gore and violence... all that good stuff. Smut would be cool too, so long as it's kind of fucked up.

Soulmate tropes

I've been yearning for some soulmate-y goodness lately, and I've got a couple different ideas I'd like to toss out there and see if anyone finds them appealing.

Superheroes - A world of known superheroes with secret and closely guarded civilian identities. Two people meet in their civilian personae and recognize they are soulmates... but don't realize that they already know each other as Supers and don't really get along. It could be anything from rival heroes stealing each other's spotlight, or one is a recently reformed villain or "grey hero" the other doesn't trust, or a full blown nemesis situation. In any case, the situation will be tense. Maybe one of them figures out and hopes the other won't, or maybe their loyal Alfreds have compared notes and want to keep the heroes in the dark for their own sanity. I am open on genders for this one, and have a male good guy or a female grey hero/reformed villain I would like to AU into this setting.

The thief - A thief breaks into the castle of a wealthy noble with an eye toward liberating some treasure for her starving village, and gets caught. Greatly to the surprise of both the thief and the noble she's dragged in front of, they recognize each other as soulmates and are confronted with how to navigate the enormous gap in social status, life experience, and outlook on the world. I would like to play the thief as female, but am open to the noble being any gender.

Healer/Berseker psl

I ended up going through old accounts and felt an itch to revisit this psl so here:

A warrior in service of the crown ends up offering themselves as tribute for some Weird Magical Shenanigans to contribute to the war effort. It ends up Badly for them, because the shit the mages pull basically turns them into a raging Berserk that's steadily and surely reaching the point where they'll simply lose themselves to rage and bloodlust.

FUN.

So before time runs out, they make the decision to abandon ship and go out on a merry trip to find a cure, following a lead that may not even be real but between being used as a war dog and taking their chances, they're going to take their chances.

With company!

Girlie is the kingdom's very own Grand Cleric's apprentice, someone who volunteered to serve as a tether for the Warrior. Whether they were actually working as a unit before he made his escape or not I'd like to decide it together with their player, but what's important is that she made her mind to willingly go along with them to help control their growing madness.

AND THEN, EVENTUALLY, THEY KISS!

So yeah. I'm really interested in working out their dynamic before jumping straight to the shippy bits, take our time to explore the Warrior's struggles and her own motivations for following. Open to both m/f and f/f –with a slight preference for f/f but I'd be thrilled either way–, good with iconless journals, la and drawn pbs.

Ancient World or Myth Characters?

Looking for some people to throw Sappho here at. She's a fictionalized version of historical Sappho and I would love playing her against fellow Ancient Greeks, Romans, Egyptians (give me a Cleopatra and I will most likely die) or similar! Also happy to play her against mythological characters, especially Ancient Greek, of course - so thirsty for an Aphrodite, but open to different pantheons and mythologies, definitely. Happy to do things in memes or a PSL, or whatever fits. Would probably prefer to see how things work in a meme first, before going the PSL route, though, but I'm flexible. HMU!
