Is it just me or there is a strong preference for MCU characters on the tdm? I can’t help but notice it.

mcus tend to flock together in every game so it's not really that surprising

there's a strong preference for mcu characters everywhere atm. everyone's feeling the phase 4 fever, i doubt it'll slow down anytime soon.

no? i was being serious when i wrote this. op isn't the first person who's talked about dating and wanting to date in the community. all i'm saying is that for people who are interested in dating other rpers, it would be cute if there was a post or something for them to find each other.

i get that anons are pressed about abusers and toxic people in dwrp. granted there's a few of those in every hobby and we certainly have our share of offenders. but people shouldn't be shamed for wanting to date rpers if they choose to. plenty of players in this hobby are together despite being rpers themselves; the rp is just a springboard, they can choose to meet up or conduct their affairs outside of it like adults. imo the paranoia is understandable but unwarranted.

Ah, basically the game is going to be open world, but it started with a more narrow focus (with players only having access to a small portion of one kingdom instead of the full map) to ease people into the story. An event was originally going to be posted on the 13th that removed those limitations. Shortly before that date the mods made a plurk saying that they needed more time to set things up so that they wouldn't get overwhelmed in the aftermath of 50 players getting unleashed on the setting at once.

Given the scope of what they are probably working on, a delay is absolutely valid, since it's probably a lot of work. It's just that we haven't heard anything from them about it since the 12th and nobody really knows how long the delay is meant to be.

It hasn't even been two weeks yet, so I'm not worried. It sounds like the players are way more involved in the plot than they planned for, so they just need time to make the things they give us as detailed as possible.

I can see the logic in starting from the assumption that most dwrpers are socially awkward enough to not have a life outside of rp

roleplayers dating each other is by no means rare and i could have easily posted "rp community" because it's a big hobby of mine and sharing interests is ideal.

Isn't it more like they're already here anyway, so dating someone else here would be nice? It does save the issue of trying to explain dwrp to someone.

early 30s for me as well! I'm a fan of all genres in mediums, but I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi best! I'll honestly read anything if I really enjoy the characters and story. I think the most recent thing I've read was Made in Abyss, which I enjoyed!

so many! since you're a fan of shoujo though, my favorite shoujo series are Cardcaptor Sakura, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Fushigi Yugi, and Magic Knight Rayearth!

people should know how to separate their characters and themselves if they're in this hobby, it's a very visible line. most people don't interact with others in a bid to get with them though, even if they are single and looking.
