Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. you mean in terms of what he could be expected to know in rp?

i think there is room for interpretation.

i would just work that sort of thing out with other rpers, but that goes for fates in general given the messiness of the throne of heroes and multiple verses. most fates i know are open minded on how to handle it

This has been my experience, too. Most Fate fans know Fate is a mess, and they don't mind if people blur the lines or mix things up or establish different degrees of knowledge with different play. Especially not if you give them a chance to opt out of your character knowing a bunch.

Pretty much the only time people get grief for picking and choosing like that is when they're powergaming in a lore-breaking way (like that Roman player that gave him all of Solomon's powers) or blatantly ignoring clearly stated things (like a post-Salem Sanson that remembers the events of Salem).

And even that last one you can play fast and loose with, considering how often Chaldea Servants imply they remember events from other verses even though they're not supposed to.

absolutely! don't believe the overblown shtick about fate rpers being a bunch of monsters who will attack you for differences of pov.

fates can get into a lot of debates that seem intense to outsiders but most rpers i've met are very accepting of variance and those debates are just part of the fun.
