rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

both sides are viciously complaining about the other and knowing who to avoid. yesterday it was for people whose initial complaints were mild until the arguments started. today it's about voting for one side or the other in a game poll.

who even WANTS to join you assholes at this point? the entire player base seems to be made up of jackasses with no middle ground.

as a new player i regret joining now, you're all making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

but what about ME???

dude. you are 100% being the asshole now. like way more than what you think the people voting in a poll the mods willingly put up are. you are being a direct dickhead to new players who didn't even do anything but express concern over the aggressiveness of the discourse you're bringing.

Scared to vote on the poll either way.

tbh i think people voting against apps are trying to get people to change their votes by being majorly antagonistic.

i don't even think it's "people" in the sense this is a group of players. i think it's one or two (three at most) VERY angry people that are blowing this *way* out of proportion because they get high off of outrage.

yeah... even as one who voted to close apps and feels opening them would not help anything, it feels bad to see new players get caught up in this, and that the bottom line of practicing empathy is getting dropped for a chance to yell. sorry for the vitriol and aggression of some of these responses, i personally am happy to see you here

this, i know a few people who were planning to app in november and they're upset because now if they want to join they'll have to wait more than twice as long. i feel bad that they didn't get any sort of warning to know to expect this or to app this round instead.

most of the complaints i'm seeing are from people who are just unhappy that the mods didn't give us any sort of indication that this was going to be happening, not that the mods are closing apps at all.
