shopping around for a game for steven universe! not sure about a series canonpoint vs canonpointing from the movie, so that's an age range from 13-16. (willing to look into games where 16 is the minimum.)

Looking for a game for yet another Warrior of Light!

Preferably one that doesn't remove powers, as he is a Summoner, and his carbuncles are VERY IMPORTANT TO HIM. As is making reality his bitch through the power of Mathematics, and trying to use those Maths to reproduce creation magics the Ascians can do. Suddenly putting an end to that would make for a very sad WOL, and that's no fun.

Also preferably not a sex game. I understand it's a lot of people's jam but I'm more of the hand holdy fluff sort than doing the do.

Looking for a game for Zodiark from Dragalia Lost! Obviously, I'll need a game that allows gachas to be apped, preferably with a one-month spoiler cap as the last event at the beginning of the month, and the event about to launch seem like they'll be full of delicious backstory for Zodiark, and I'd like to potentially be playing him somewhere by the end of October.

For the canon unfamiliar, I'm seeking a game for a very old, very sad dragon of Darkness who in spite of being a being of darkness, curses and poison, really adores humanity with all his might. The fact that humanity hates and scorns him in return has had a corrosive effect on his body and soul but he still hangs onto his affection for people in spite of it.

I'd like to keep his dragon shape (but if I must humanize will hunt an appropriately old PB), though downsizing is just fine. Power loss is also acceptable. Smut friendly games are fine, but I don't plan on doing a lot of sexing with Grandpa Dragon, so not mandatory please!

K, I'm not even making a journal for this until I get a feeling of how much of a wankstorm this would cause.

Spoilers for a nearly 40 year old Franchise: in The Dark Crystal world, the UrSkeks split into two halves 2000 years ago: The evil Skeksis, who got all the indulgence and ambition, and the wise Mystics, who got the guilt and grief and morals.

What I really want to do is play a pair from the new prequal series, SkekGra and UrGoh, who were once GraGoh. As one apped character. In one account.

And you know, I'd be as mindful with them as I can be. They're a codependent pair of creatures who've lived together for centuries and never want to part, and they'd be like your grandparents on a speakerphone when it comes to the network, talking together and over each other. In events? They'll be working hand in hand together. AC? Can't get it with myself, so this solves the problem of being That Fad Player who only plays with their cast.

But Anon, you ask, Why not app one and fish for someone else to app the other? Because, fellow nonnies, that's just a pain in the ass.

Imagine a Wish event, or a timeskip to the future or past, where GraGoh reforms? Who gets to control the character? Wankstorm. Imagine one of them getting an injury? Now both of them are injured and there's a wankstorm about Godmoding. Talking about it beforehand? Better hope the other person isn't flaking out and stopping me answer tags.

Would any of you follow that logic and be cool with a 2-in-1 app, or would I find myself gossiped about?

I'd say it'd depend on the individual mods as to if it'd be allowed.

Symbiotic creatures do tend to be a case by case basis for most games.

they're not symbiotic in the sense of a trill or venom. when the crystal splits, they're two separate appable creatures. the thing that ties them is that what happens to one happens to another. and that's something that might be negated in a game depending on power allowances (likely nerfed). and most individual mods will not allow a player to app in two characters, even under one account. the rule of thumb here is that if a character can be apped as its own entity, then they're a separate character.

you can’t, my friend. when they’re separate characters, you either play one or the other. playing both would probably count as playercest. find a partner to play your other half, or just go ahead and play their fusion instead because that counts as one character.

1) i'm sorry but you sound insufferably stuck up your own ass taking 5-6 paragraphs to ask something that could be summed up in 1-2, mindful as you are about that

2) canon treats them as separate characters with separate personalities. canon does not yet show what gragoh's personality is like when whole. everything in a gragoh app would be pure speculation. you should only be apping either skekgra or urgoh.

3) don't confuse character want with character capability. canon already notes they've had a history of being separated, even if you take them from a canon point where they want to live together. skekgra had his prophecies and was outcast from skeksis and labeled a heretic, and urgoh was also ostracized when no other mystic could understand what he was talking about with his visions and prophecies. they may not want to live apart now, but they aren't incapable of living without each other.

4) it's entirely possible gragoh will die before they ever "reform", much like skekmal and urva did. we may never see what they are like as a whole.

5) in the unlikely event you are playing either skekgra or urgoh in a game and someone else is playing the other character in said game, and there is a some kind of game event, that's going to be resolved on a case-by-case basis discussion with your castmate and with the mods if you feel it necessary to get them involved at all. maybe you both will play two versions of gragoh. maybe neither of you will.

you overthink rp rules for the sake of accuracy when we're already running around in games with sentient floating turtle islands or aphrodisiac laced tentacle queen monsters bursting out of a 80s inspired retro wavemoon of a planet inhabited by furries. think less for accuracy and more for fairness and common sense.

(imo if you app either, go for skekgra. he's got way more potential for making and maintaining interesting cr in a panfandom game setting than the veeerryyyy sloooooowwwwww paaaaassive urgoh)
