Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Headmod bailed on it. Several players tried to get in contact with the mod team but fru ignores everything related to TFS.

She won't give admin access to anyone which only strengthens the suspicion that game died because she refused to give people in a massive mod team any sort of power. On the OOC community, fru said it herself: she wanted to implement everything by herself.

Someone should really just remake the game at this point, or at least make a new community as a sandbox setting for TFS.

We all moved on. Which is a shame because this game had some of the most passionate and dedicated player base. Thank you for being great TFS players.

Yeah... guess I can't argue with that. As much as I loved that game, I've moved on to a new game as well. It still pisses me off though that this game didn't even get a chance to go into better hands. Anything would've been better than what actually happened.

I decided to take a peek at Fru's plurk out of sheer curiosity after reading this (since I still have her on my flist and I'm not sure if her plurk is privated), and it looks like she was hospitalized not too long ago? Or something to that effect. Can't really say for how long that has been a thing so I can maybe understand that's why she never did pass the game on to someone else...but I also know that there's been people requesting it for months now. And it can't be that hard to just give them passwords and emails, or whatever else documentation they need.

I just find it all pretty fascinating now. Because I heard in one of the last major TFS events it was that basically Fru was in charge of everything, the NPCs and all. The presume reason was because the other mods were doing absolutely nothing, too busy, flaking, etc. So either that is what really happened, or Fru really had been a control freak all along, or none of it is real. Either way, somebody isn't telling the truth.

At this point, it is probably 99% better that somebody did just remake the game from scratch if they want to continue it. Or make a brand new game inspired by it, TFS is kind of like tarnished goods at this point.
