Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.

I'm going to wreck dw and open an oc supernatural game. Like dw is a platform for rp that's good. Why dont we have oc only games?

I'm down for it. I guess OC games are just really strongly associated with IJRP/Tumblr RP/forum games, which have RP norms that are totally alien to DWRP. There are some OC games on DW but they feel like offshoots from that alien culture. So to get an OC-only game to work within our corner of RP, you'd probably have to stick to DW-style gameplay and modding style, and avoid off-putting IJRP tropes like generic urban fantasy settings, celebrities, and live action-only PBs. A native OC game would likely work better than an OC jamjar, though... DWRP is mostly jamjars but they don't really offer a lot for OCs.

I'd do in th he style of dw with test drives and such but it drives me nuts about long waits with reserves and apps, so the style I'd go through there are character adds once/twice a week. I'm not doing exactly urban fantasy but definitely medium city America that's cornflakes, corndogs and talent show like. I might set it in the eighties. No western gothic exactly but definitely secrets and such. I'll be coming up with more ideas as time goes on. Like an au eighties verse. I'll allow all kinds of face claims besides cartoons and certain childlike anime styles.
