With the constant raising of new units in Battle for Azeroth, this can be weaved into the possibility of new Undead character customizations. We have seen light-raised Undead with priests resurrecting Calia Menethil into a mid-stage of Undeath in Before the Storm, as well as raised elves and skeletons all through the expansion.

This expansion has also been big with new character customizations, from Blood Elves with golden eyes to the Night Warrior customization for Night Elves. This could mean that all races could get a "Forsaken" character customization option as if they were raised into Undeath. We don't know what "light Forsaken" could look like, as Calia Menethil has not been shown as a Forsaken in-game, but it could lead to another customization option to Forsaken characters.

it's all just speculation from wowhead, but that'd be pretty damn cool if there were non-human undead customization options.

and yes, before someone starts, i'm aware of dks.

I doubt they'd go to the lengths of giving every race undead options. It'd be neat, but it'd probably be more effort than they're willing to put in. Elves, probably. Orcs too.

Worgen were said to be immune to the curse of undeath in Cata, but worgen DKs are a thing, so yeah.

I imagine that if they include "light" Forsaken, they'll look like DKs but with golden eyes instead of blue. Probably a way to give people the undead paladins they've been asking for for ages.

i always took that as "sylvanas couldn't create undead worgen, but the lich king could". i mean, if he could raise fucking dragons into undeath, why would it be impossible to make a zombie werewolf?

also bear in mind that in cata, sylvanas couldn't create non-human undead. now she can. look at the army of skeletons she raised in the battle for lordaeron. they're mostly orcs and tauren.

Sorry guys, "no plans at the current time". That means don't hold your breath. Blizz isn't going to go to the trouble of making undead of other races available to us.
