it's okay every now and again but it's like the older i get the less patience i have for writing about my characters doing cute fluffy domestic shit

at least drama and dark heavy stuff is cathartic

Seconding this. I have no patience for the banal slice of life and fluffy romances anymore.

Sadly, none of my partners are interested in writing anything dark and gritty.

it's a double-edged sword, anon. the more dark and gritty I've pursued, the more I've met people who say they want dark but then shake and cry when you introduce conflict. rpers who can go with the dark and see it through are a unicorn, treasure them if you find them.

If you don’t mind crossover stuff, since I highly doubt you share my obscure/ancient fandoms (I mean, it COULD happen, but)...

I live for body horror, torture, unhealthy relationships, angst, tons of stuff.
