no horse in this race one way or another but tbf almost all the men are actually adults. i remember there being discussion here about ppl being grossed out by da vinci fawning over kid alexander during her event too

and i also could have sworn there was an argument exactly like this wrt swimsuits during the summer event but it all boiled down to most agreeing that the swimsuits at least made sense for the event and the most revealing ones were on adult women

some people just ain't into lolis or shotas. it's possible to have this preference and still enjoy the other kinds of fanservice in the game. preteens are not the only playable characters by a long shot. but there's no need to go on a tirade about prefs one way or another either

the target audience thing is actually true in case anyone tries to refute that. the last user survey (on JP anyway, idk about NA since i don't play it and NA isn't the primary source of income anyway) showed that about 70% of the playerbase is male.

if you can't deal with designs that cater primarily to male players just...don't play this. you're not being forced to. literally just go play something else.

It's cartoon violence that isn't explicit, genius. How hard is it to understand that a community of women might have some objections to how young women are portrayed as sex objects in a game? Especially when studies have shown that yeah, fictional media does have an impact in how we're viewed and treated. this shit doesn't occur in a vacuum, and Fate fans and those outside the fandom are allowed to be critical.
