a little frustrated that an event that was supposed to span three months with a wind up, a plotty month, and a wind down isn't starting till the 24th.

off my chest vent: pretty bummed out that I didn't tag around on the intro log because the event was supposed to go up on the 15th so say the calendar. then the plurk announced it would be the 17th. then the discord said sometime this weekend! (20-21) but now it's pushed to the 24th? which makes me think the 26th is a more realistic expectation

if I had known on the 15th we wouldn't have an event until the last week of the month, I would have tagged around more. don't want to sound entitled, because if the mods need the extra time, totally understand! huge event! wish they would commit to a deadline instead of saying "couple more days!" over and over and over

and the only reason I'm salty is because I want to play!!!!

i fully agree. i wanted the event up because i'm excited for it, but this delay is pretty ridiculous.

same, i held off on tagging the intro because i wanted to save my time and energy for the event but now i'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs and wishing i actually had tagged some things. feels bad, man.

I tagged a few things in the intro log but now everything is winding down and nobody wants to start something because everyone's waiting for the event that keeps getting nudged back. I get that there were extenuating circumstances this month and it's very modwork-heavy, but mods should have just been realistic from the start and given a firm date even if it was going to be in November when they know they can get everything together. Nothing wrong with sitting on a finished product for a few days until sticking to when you said you would deliver.

Supposedly they wanted to space things out better but now it's going to be the same time as the TDM and it's going to be hectic again after days of nothing.

It is now the 24th. The new TDM is up. The October event is still on hold. Please remember that the TDMs are always forward dated by about two weeks (e.g. early November in this case).

This is getting ridiculous.

What's the pace here like? Would a slower player be able to build CR and keep up?

there are other slower players in the game. my only concern or suggestion to you would be to make sure you feel you can meet ac. if you can, then you should be fine.

honestly i’m pretty slow but i feel i’ve been able to keep up. the pace really picks up during events but people are usually willing to backtag and accommodate slower players

What is slow? If you do one tag every other day or more infrequently than that, you won't be able to make AC.

I can manage roughly 100 log tags a month on average, so AC shouldn't be an issue. I'm currently at Duplicity and have been struggling with feeling constantly overwhelmed, so I'm wondering if Zhautas allows for a chiller pace of play.

i am so baffled by the fact that someone apped the carpet from aladdin to this game. i'm baffled it was approved.

just baffled all around.

some people play characters strictly for the novelty and for the fact they'll get a lot of attention from it. i just kind of roll my eyes tbh, especially in cases where they're not even a character and they're obviously just doing it for the luls. have fun playing ig but you're not getting any cr from me.

on the other hand, i guess they just filled a really particular niche for characters that like footjobs, so. you do you, magic carpet.

what's to be baffled about? the implant can and does give non-humans humanoid bodies. the carpet can turn into a human and fuck all they want. it's a bit of a weird app, but coa had fifi la pieu in it and KITT from knight rider has been in a few smut games with the ability to transform into human. lots of anthromorphic shit.

unless you're agog over it being from disney, in which case, again, shrug. i've seen aladdin and jasmine in smut games. no genie, though. which is a shame. i think i've seen an ursula, too. and an ariel. a carpet is weird, but it's not like it wasn't basically apu or iago without the ability to vocalize.

anon, chill the defensiveness, apping the fucking *magic carpet* to a sex game is weird no matter how you spin it. the character was basically a slightly smarter pet, no lines, no developed personality, and is a carpet. this isn't a robot or a furry or an alien, it's a goddamn roll of carpet.
