rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i think my favorite thread got dropped and i'm trying really hard not to be sad about it. but i was really enjoying myself for the first time in forever... i've never had a PSL take off the way this one did, and i was rping all of my favorite things too! this sucks.

Drop them a pm. I recently lost all my bookmarks and tabs when my laptop died. I can’t find half of mine. They may have had the same problem.

honest question, not meant in any rude way, but don't you use email or the dw inbox or anything else?

it just seems wild to me to function through bookmarks/tabs when notifications come to you.

When I pull up a tag to do, I delete it from the email. Don’t get it done, I store it in bookmarks. I’m usually flipping computers or to mobile back to laptop to work and my stupid brain gets convinced I did that tag versus not. My bad brain stupidity. My point was, a nudge would hurt if op really wanted to keep going.

chrome (maybe others, idk) lets you sign into the browser itself so that your bookmarks carry over between devices

shoot them a pm, definitely! the worst thing that could happen is that they ignore you. but if it took off as you said, it may just be that they're busy!

omg i just realised i hadn't tagged back one of my psls when i thought i had :( maybe it was me!! i just pm'd my partner about it but i wish they would've poked me to ask me about it earlier.- you totally should!

Adding to the "send a pm" crowd, anon! I lose track of things sometimes and many, many of us assume it's "been too long" if we fall behind by a week or more.

what if you nudged them once and they responded with a quick tag and then dropped it again. i know they're busy with a new shiny but i feel like that was an indication they've dropped it altogether

if that's the case, i would consider it dropped and move on, even if it sucks. :(
