Kids don’t have the mental development or life experiences to tell what in fiction is healthy, so yeah if you let a kid read something unhealthy they’re going to absorb that. This is on the parents for letting a 16-year-old read 50 Shades in the first place.

tbh it makes no sense. i've been in multiple campaigns that have almost nothing in common with the base dnd lore except for some monsters and the battle system. completely different gods, cultures, etc. considering them "fandom" ocs seems really stupid.

besides, critrole and taz characters are allowed? do people get that those characters are all just dnd ocs made by internet celebs? they're not any more "special" or "unique" just because the mcelroys or mercer and friends made them.

If you see areas that require improvement there is a regular game-wide HMD and a permanent suggestion box. Mods has been doing their best to address issues brought to them and they changed the game a lot based on player feedback.

they haven't. but they have published things that have either implied it, or been heavy on lolicon style fanservice.

tsukihime implies that len and shiki have sexual content in the original vn. melty blood react pretty much blatantly confirms that white len and nanaya shiki have definitely fucked. and there's prisma illya, the fate spin off that's ostensibly a magical girl series but is really heavy on the fanservice of the main girls.

The witch hunt that just happened on plurk is not ok. We should treat people with care and appreciation and educate them if they're misinformed, not ostracize and spit on them. I'm ashamed of this community.

like they seem to be under the impression that Frogotten Realms is *the* d&d canon universe when, like, there are multiple official campaign settings and a lot of them have completely separate settings and lores, and most GMs make up their own shit anyways?
