There are plenty of contemporaries which are just as bad, if not worse. They get forgotten. Female-aimed things get hated hard and ridiculed and mocked for years.

Look at pop culture: Twilight, 50 Shades, Mortal Instruments, Magic Mike, One Direction, Justin Bieber, The Beatles, THE COLOR PINK. It's crazy.

IIRC, some oldschool intellectuals from the XIX century openly said that women should not be allowed to read novels because they were too stupid to distinguish fiction from reality. I tagged a few things in the intro log but now everything is winding down and nobody wants to start something because everyone's waiting for the event that keeps getting nudged back. I get that there were extenuating circumstances this month and it's very modwork-heavy, but mods should have just been realistic from the start and given a firm date even if it was going to be in November when they know they can get everything together. Nothing wrong with sitting on a finished product for a few days until sticking to when you said you would deliver.

Supposedly they wanted to space things out better but now it's going to be the same time as the TDM and it's going to be hectic again after days of nothing.
