➢ Ripped away from the life you've previously known, consciousness finds you in the midst of ancient imperial Rome. The only thing that follows you are memories and possibly a few scant supplies on you before you arrived. Friends, technology, even clothing are discarded or left behind.

Upon arrival, newly equipped in the ephemera of a time not your own, you are given a simple choice: help Olympus save itself or find yourself condemned to crawl back up from the depths of Tartarus. Assigned to different patron Gods and Goddesses, your characters will work to earn new abilities to help fight in the gods' new war.

Fasti is a historical fantasy game, set in the midst of ancient Rome, steeped in Greco-Roman mythology. Characters will be thrust into the middle of a war waged between ancient deities, conscripted from different times and worlds, gathered together to live, work, and fight within the walls of the city of Rome.

Welcome to Norfinbury. The time is 06:00AM. The date is UNKNOWN. Please touch the screen to register me now.
The air is cold and still. It is silent, aside from the electronic voice of some nearby device that speaks to you, repeating its message incessantly until you comply. The walls, the floor, the ceiling are all unfamiliar to you. You have little food and water, inadequate supplies, and no map to help you get your bearings. You are completely alone.

You have found yourself in an at least half-ruined, abandoned town swallowed by perpetual winter. If the days are chilly, the nights bring treacherously sharp cold and even more snow. Much of the time, you will be alone, your most constant companion a small tablet that connects you to a network composed of travelers like yourself.

Find food, find the records of the previous residents, find whoever or whatever brought you here. Work together with other travelers both in person and over the network to piece together clues and open up new areas. Explore while dealing with the eerie atmosphere that suffocates the town and claws its way into your mind--maybe even literally. Figure out just what happened to this place. Seek a way out. Above all else, keep moving.

In Norfinbury, if you're not moving, you might as well already be dead.

Snowblind is a plot-centered panfandom psychological horror game for ages sixteen and up. With its main themes of isolation, survival, and exploration, it relies on players communicating and interacting with Norfinbury to open up the setting and solve the plot's mysteries. The game is initially capped at one hundred characters, with five per canon, although eventually it will expand. Characters will be able to discover remnants of the past residents and through these remnants figure out what happened and why they're here. If they're lucky, maybe they'll figure out how to go home--or at least how to stop this from ever happening again. While the town itself is unforgiving and dangerous, events will be focused on the psychologically stressful nature of the setting; this is not a game based around fighting monsters. Snowblind is a game with a definite plotline that will run between three and three and a half years.

How much would a completely new character/player get out of apping right now? Is it not really recommended since the game is close to finishing?

Hi! It depends on you and the character you'd want to app. If it's a character who is slow to make connections, then it probably wouldn't be a good fit, but there's definitely time to get some fun CR and have your character deal with the setting. Characters who connect to others easily/have castmates will probably be fine on this front! If you want to solve a lot of plot mysteries then it's probably not a good time either, but there are still some left to play with. We would absolutely love to have you, though! We love new characters and new players (and of course our players also love new friends). We're estimating the game will last approximately another three months, with some flexibility based on how quickly the characters continue their progression.

FACT: Alternate realities exist. All of them were born into existence at the same time, in the same way, containing the same things, and just like any other space that people were born into, they can only make the best of what they have. And the inhabitants of reality 5561A have really screwed theirs up. After discovering interdimensional travel, they immediately managed to pick a fight with the next universe over. A few hundred years later, and The Great War was over, leaving reality 5561A decimated, with only stragglers surviving on every planet in the reality. They packed up their portals and were left with only one remaining natural portal they couldn't close - their only real option to recover from the war and repopulate their dying reality. Thus was founded Riverview Quarantine, a vast city nestled in a valley on a small moon orbiting the Capital World in reality 5561A. With the portal still active, anyone from any reality who feels, even for a fleeting moment, like they don't belong where they are can be pulled through to their new reality, where they can find a new home in a new community on any number of planets...after a pleasant 5-year stay in the Quarantine, to make sure they're not a danger to themselves or others. Riverview is a relaxed choose-your-own-pace panfandom city game, with options for involvement in an easygoing plot that includes elements of exploration, fighting, and moderate worldbuilding. Set in Riverview Quarantine, a beautiful modern city in the middle of a lush forest in an alternate reality, characters are drawn into the city by a portal that senses their displacement to a society that wants them to feel at home. The government is genuinely interested in the characters' well-being. Characters are not trapped forever, and if they were brought by mistake, the Government will do everything in its power to send them home - but it is not an easy task, picking where the portal manifests is something like steering a cyclone, and they ask that characters be patient and try to make the best of their time in the Quarantine until they can.

Uploaded is a panfandom roleplaying game loosely based on USS Callister, a stand-alone episode of science fiction anthology series Black Mirror. The game relies heavily on the basis that the technology exists to create advanced biometric virtual clones from even the smallest amount of DNA; characters are recreated exactly and wholly, are completely self-aware and retain all of their knowledge and unique modifiers that make them who they are. These virtual clones are then uploaded into a virtual reality setting which is controlled by the entity that uploaded them and by the constraints of the setting they’re placed in, essentially making them the most advanced video game characters to ever exist. They are wholly fleshed out NPCs and are used as wish fulfillment or entertainment against their will, upon threat of consequences and punishment should they fail to play the role they’ve been assigned.

The game has a setting that regularly changes approximately every four months, shifting characters into a new ‘story’ or ‘game’. Prior to the change, the next setting options will be placed onto a poll that allows existing players to vote on the one that most appeals to them. Settings can range from deep space to ancient rome, from highschool to high seas. Settings may be based on existing mediums, whether they be games, movies, or television shows. Each setting will have a plot-based story with optional opt-in “roles” that characters are forced to play, or face the consequences.

For players less interested in the storyline roles or the overarching plot of existentialism and breaking free of their virtual prison, the settings themselves will be well-fleshed and navigable, and micro-plots such as game glitches can be used as player-plot devices to build CR. This game comes with a blanket trigger warning for adult themes, body horror, violence, and sexual themes. Please keep this in mind before deciding to apply.

It's the end of the multiverse as we know it.
When the multiverse cracks wide open and gets scrambled together to make a cosmic omelet, a lot is happening at once. Chaos and confusion are naturally at the forefront of such a shift. Everyone’s perception of reality just got a whole lot bigger. Turns out, there is more than one universe out there! In fact, there’s a ton of them.

Behind it follows the questions, “How?” or “Why?” The answers to those inquiries actually come to those asking them in the form of a disease. A subtle seep into everything that it can reach; it doesn’t seem fatal. Not yet, at least. Its spread is extraordinarily far and fast perhaps as a result of the bending and twisting of multiple realities into one. Before long, everyone seems to be reporting about this phenomenon.

A synthetic voice sounds out across every reality, whether new or old. It rings in the mind of every one of the multiverse at once. "You’re infected," it says. "We’re here to help." Skies from all over see the same sight. The planet next to them or maybe two over, it’s suddenly gone. In a flash of light and color, it’s vaporized.

These beings have a funny way of helping.

But some planets are lucky. They’ve met just the right conditions to be quarantined for further research. Even luckier still, a select few individuals from each of these closed off planets are chosen to be shipped off-world and become part of the next phase of clinical trials working towards a cure. Led by renown scientific minds from all over the multiverse, it sounds rather promising. You could stay where you are and see how long it takes before the disease turns out to be deadly... Or you could “volunteer” your services to directly contribute to the closest thing to a cure the multiverse has seen yet.

Should you accept, the planet Zhautas welcomes you and hopes you enjoy your stay.

About the game...
Zhautas is an 18+ panfandom sci-fi/exploration smut game with horror elements. It's a mish-mash of the strange, sexy, and spooky. It is set on the planet #05031941 - common name designated as 'Zhautas' - which is considered ideal for the next phase of clinical trials in finding a cure for the mystery disease ravaging the multiverse.

Zhautas is a former resort planet turned research facility. It has diverse ecosystems ranging from biting cold tundra to scorching hot deserts. There are even land masses suspended in the air and creatures dwelling in the darkest depths of its ocean. Characters will get to explore all that these new areas have to offer every couple of months.

The indigenous species of the planet are allowing the Zenith Corporation to conduct their research here under the condition that they are allowed to be involved as well. Despite this seemingly mutual agreement, it will quickly become clear that things are a bit tenser than they first appear between the natives and the Zenith Corporation. Add a whole slew of new fresh-faced "volunteers" to shake things up and who's to say what might happen...

It’s pitch black when you awaken. A funny, chemical cleaning agent is filling your nostrils and you can’t move your body. You realize you are in a narrow, confined space. A box? Or maybe a coffin? Fumbling around you eventually find a button along a panel inches from your nose. A seal is released and you flip open your prison. It’s a dark room with rust stains covering the walls and a door that is made out of heavy industrial metal. On another wall is a computer terminal with blinking text.

Typing anything in to the attached keyboard does nothing. You can hear a dull hum coming from somewhere beyond the door. There seems to be a pressure in the air, like a thunderstorm about to roll overhead. You glance at your fingernails. There is blood under them. Your vision swims.

Suddenly, a loud horn rings out over an intercom followed by a voice.

“Hello, 70░ of Rosemary Division. This is not a test. Day One commences in six hundred seconds. Please be advised to stick to protocol. Begin.”

The hair rises on the back of your neck as you hear the metal door unlock.

In the depth of the shadowy hallway you hear a frightened but real sound.

“Hello? Please help me.”

Day One has began.

706 is a panfandom horror rp loosely based off of Ruby Quest. Characters wake up in “Rosemary Division” with no memory of how they came to be there. They must survive and navigate their surroundings in this strange town while reality warps and crumbles around them. Events will be psychological and body horror based.

They are also required to attend monthly faculty-run study programs where students are transplanted into temporary alternate universes - they will live, work, assimilate, and then bring back important data for collection. You don't recall falling, but you recall a flash of bright light, and the next thing you know you're washing up on the shoreline. You can see two moons and a planet in the sky. Directly abovehead is a slash of oscillating lights that flash painfully bright with every passing second - and you witness a handful of silhouettes getting spit out of the lights, falling into the water with a loud splash.

It's a surprising sight; just as surprising is the fact that you're not alone.

A stranger you didn't notice approaching hauls you up onto your feet, checks you for injuries, and then you're lifted into a shuttle, where you're healed by the med techs on board. There are others like you who were pulled from the water and the sand, and they're in various states of healing. You're all soaked in seawater - and by the look of things, you're all equally at a loss about your situation.

An automated message keeps repeating over the PA system in English: "You are currently in Caius Allied Territory. Welcome to Alexandrina."

Where the hell are you?

HYPERJUMP is a panfandom sci-fi open-world game that has elements of space opera and a reactive general plotline. Characters are brought in by accident and are invited to join human society while humans, now known as Terrans, work towards sending them back home. Players are encouraged to engage with the general plot and lead the direction of the storyline to any number of conclusions. The game's rating is PG-13.

The last thing you remember is getting knocked out, and next thing you know, you're being shaken awake, with scent the ocean burning through the air. A loud horn blows and shocks you further into wakefulness; a hulk of a building looms at a distance. Your arms are chained behind you, and there's a collar around your neck. Chipped paint spells out SANTA MARIA in large letters along the bridge of the ship.

The foreman shouts out in every which direction, "Make way, make way! Make way for these sad souls!"

how strict do you plan to be on the 18+ characters rule? i don't want to be that person who harasses mods to change their rules, but i see in the FAQ that it's 18+ with exceptions on a case-by-case basis so i figured it's worth asking.

da, but if you do allow characters under 18, you might consider an additional question for the app, like "suitability for the game" where they can make their case for their character. damned had one and it worked out really well in seeing who actually had good reasons for their character to be allowed into a game like that, and who hadn't thought things through.

if this really is going to be a prison game where sex happens i think the mods should keep it 18+.

keep your tweens and kids at riverview or deerington. not every game needs to allow them.

You just know there's going to be people who see prison/sex game and think "wow, I'd better put my 12yo here!!!"

Not every game needs to cater to every character type.

relax. no one's saying to throw the doors wide open for all kids ever. but if the mods are the ones who brought up the possibility of exceptions in their own FAQ, it's not unreasonable to wonder if their idea of a case-by-case basis is "sure, a few years younger is acceptable if suitable for the game" or "we'll maybe grudgingly allow a seventeen year old if they're like a serial killer".
