Any ideas on how to curb the nosedive feelings with this game? It feels like there's been a steady decline in quality the last few months (keep in mind I'm on here and not wg for a reason,) and attention from the mods in terms of lists, details and plot seems limited but the playerbase is strong and committed. So what can we do to try and turn this around?

depending on what happens with my work schedule soon, I'm hoping to maybe app to a new game, and I'd really love to bring tough old general leia to a game with at least some star wars cast

I'd prefer a game that isn't either super intensely plot-driven or totally slice-of-life. I don't want to be in the position of Leia getting super dedicated to an unwinnable war against vague NPCs or whatever (as she easily could end up) but she would probably just not work in a game with no goals, either.

I'd also prefer a game that's less than 60% anime/manga. I've loved some CR with anime characters in the past, but when the entire game is stuff I've never heard of, I have a harder time getting into it.

Otherwise I'm pretty flexible about tone/size/setting. Thanks anons!

706 It’s pitch black when you awaken. A funny, chemical cleaning agent is filling your nostrils and you can’t move your body. You realize you are in a narrow, confined space. A box? Or maybe a coffin? Fumbling around you eventually find a button along a panel inches from your nose. A seal is released and you flip open your prison. It’s a dark room with rust stains covering the walls and a door that is made out of heavy industrial metal. On another wall is a computer terminal with blinking text. ʀᴏsᴇᴍᴀʀʏ ᴅɪᴠɪsɪᴏɴ Typing anything in to the attached keyboard does nothing. You can hear a dull hum coming from somewhere beyond the door. There seems to be a pressure in the air, like a thunderstorm about to roll overhead. You glance at your fingernails. There is blood under them. Your vision swims. Suddenly, a loud horn rings out over an intercom followed by a voice. “Hello, 70░ of Rosemary Division. This is not a test. Day One commences in six hundred seconds. Please be advised to stick to protocol. Begin.” The hair rises on the back of your neck as you hear the metal door unlock. In the depth of the shadowy hallway you hear a frightened but real sound. “Hello? Please help me.” Day One has began. ⩕⩕⩕⩕⩕⩕⩕ 706 is a panfandom horror rp loosely based off of Ruby Quest. Characters wake up in “Rosemary Division” with no memory of how they came to be there. They must survive and navigate their surroundings in this strange town while reality warps and crumbles around them. Events will be psychological and body horror based. TDM will be on July 1st. A horror game where you can app your character in as a killer/torturer/monster/etc instead of every player character being a victim of the NPC'd malevolent forces.

It'd take a load off the mods having to write all the horror themselves, make the game more suitable for characters who fit well into a horror setting but wouldn't really do the whole victim/cooperative survival thing, and it'd allow the characters apped in as 'normal' characters to develop more personal CR with their enemies. During game downtime these villain characters would be able to interact with other villains, or perhaps covertly interact with the regular characters through the network or something.

The rules would have to be laid down to keep players of these characters from godmoding/powergaming, but I think it could be a lot of fun.

So I just started playing this bandaged disaster and would love opportunities for shippy things with castmates! I'd especially love to play off an Odasaku with present-day Dazai (either though a jamjar setting or some kind of revival), but honestly, I ship him with basically everyone in the ADA/Mafia (save for like, Mori or Kyouka) so I'll take anyone! As a note, I'm only familiar with the anime and light novels right now, so no manga-only characters please!

i recently read an AU fanfic from my fandom that was heartbreaking, breathtaking, and just plain stunning--the kind you think about for a couple of days when it's done. the fic gave me a new perspective on its lead character (who was already my favorite) and has reawakened my rp muse. so my question is: what's your view on playing from an AU based on a fanfic? acceptable or no? stick to memes or search for games? and if you were to do it, would you contact the writer first for permission? it's not something weirdly specific, like, say, gandolf in the world of crash bandicoot, but one of those for-want-of-a-nail scenarios.
