This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

when they're right, they're right, my dude. there are plenty of reasons why EA has been considered the shittiest of the video game behemoths for decades, the way they force stupid shit on established IPs and then abandon them after they bomb is well-known.

it's a well-researched article with tons of sources and lots of explanations, that several industry people have corroborated, and has been supported by EA's later actions. kotaku isn't a great site, but it has some good articles sometimes.

i'd never take a kotaku article at face value, but this story has a lot of evidence backing it up. a broke clock is right twice a day, and once in a while kotaku can pull its head out of its ass and publish something worthwhile.
