The remaster is coming out very soon. Think there will be a sudden influx of players the way it was with Final Fantasy X?

honestly, probably not, unless it's a bunch of balthiers. imo, xii just doesn't have the greatest in terms of party members with fun and distinct personalities and plot, and i say this as someone who loves this game real hard. having vaan as the main protag and his lack of real relevance to the story did a real disservice

i have never ever in my life seen a vaan player (i have also seen a penelo or two back in the day), but it could be just that we're looking in different circles

da but i enjoyed larsa as well! he, balthier, and fran were the stars of the playable cast imo, in terms of personality.

I plan to toss my Larsa out into memes once zodiac age rolls out. Not sure about a game.

I'm not looking forward to that one shitty fujoshit player and her awful Basch coming back. They're Erik probably be a lot of shitty yaoi Vaans and extra bitchy do no wrong Ashes, too.

I'm curious...

There's this player that uses SHSL Ivalice all over and plays the most bland one-note Basch that is 'canonly gay'. Outside of that, they were really cringey and tried really hard to match canon dialog but read like they put every word through a thesaurus and would use words the wrong way that you often see medieval characters use (which is weird because some characters are just more proper, it's not that they're archaic really). A few down low 12 players I know stopped posting around because they didn't want to tag them. I won't post their username but it's skill-related and think they're still doing PSLs on it. I'm not looking forward to seeing them around because he's such an awesome, layered character and not a precious woobie who only knows how to communicate with men because prison!
