I'm seriously hoping this game gets started. It's the only appealing game to me in dwrp right now.

Same here, seriously. I'd be willing to co-mod if it came to it just to make it happen.

But it doesn't look like the OP has been around for a number of weeks.

most of the time when i edit i'm editing to increase visibility, like increasing brightness or adding an overlay layer, but i dont usually need to

except one of my characters comes from a canon that uses a lot of dark color and very little lighting ugh

That Konoka also plays Nozomi (thewitchoftoujou) and sucks at her too.

Is it possible to change the source image when you hover over an icon? I'm trying to do some code so that, in the journal, when you hover over any of the user icons they all transition to an "anonymous" type of icon.

I've fiddled with z-index and the like. Maybe my brain is just fried from the long day I've had but I just can't get it to work, so if anyone can help or tell me if it's possible that would be super.

My current code in the stylesheet is:

I've messed with it so much that it's messy and falling apart now alas. The best I've gotten was for the image to appear, but it would appear underneath the user icon and over to the right, despite setting top: 0px; and left: 0px; so I don't even know at this point.

Any help is appreciated.

God I hate shipping

Im not really familiar with starwars in general besides like the stuff everyone knows like luke im your father blah blah blah, but as for the characters in the game and the players, they all seem to enjoy tagging in their group and outside too.

Ive had one starwars dude take interest in my vidya game dude and they've been such a blast to tag with, so my experience is they've been pretty awesome about not being clique-y

So you're fresh into a new canon and want to find castmates to play with. What do you do?

We can only hope they've been working on it behind the scenes! And that they see this thread to know there's still interest and someone who might co-mod.

Please bring this game to life!

If it's a canon that I know friends are also into, I ask them if they're interested in playing any characters from it, or tag them if they already are playing from the canon.

If it's a "fad" canon that has a bandwagon attached (an ongoing show, something which just finished a run, etc) I look for characters from it I am interested to tag on BS. Eventually some do stick around, and I've met a few friends this way.

If the canon is new only to you and/or has no bandwagon, then you can either (1) try to get friends interested in the canon so they will play castmates or (2) tag out crosscanon and hope you are engaging enough to have the players you tag look into the canon, thereby leading to (1).

Most enemies can knock off three hearts with a single attack. A three-heart run of BotW is absolutely possible, but I'm going to say is going to be very, very difficult.

i love gen cr and would love to write more fraught, complex, intense gen cr that had really interesting arcs.

it gets awfully tiresome to always end up on the backburner for a ship to take the fore. :(

you couldn't put this under the right subthread, huh

downplaying the shock or handwaving past the exposition of what the character is isn't too much to ask for. if it's a little ooc for a character not to freak out and ask minimal questions, it's not that big of a deal either.

playing off one of those characters who nobody plays. still searching of course, but it doesn't seem likely to change anytime soon.

in the meantime though ill play some nier automata. it's good stuff even if i can't pick up any muses from it.

Plurk about it and see if any of your friends respond.

Go into Canon Discussion and look for/post a roll call thread for the canon.

Check out enablemeplz (the thread here or the community).

Keep an eye on the games you're interested in. You never know who's gonna pop up in an app round.

All of this, basically. Some deaths are freak accidents or self-defense, and in any case, the mods and victim player will plot with you to help you figure out the best way to make that magic happen. You don't really have to torture characterization, just be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

All of the above, and also: keep an eye out for the roll call meme in bakerstreet. You can sometimes find rare canon or rare castmates there.

Also, remember to post your own character to all the rollcalls and enablemeplz too, as well as making them visible by posting around on memes. Sometimes you can lure castmates out of the woodwork (it's happened to me multiple times when I wasn't even looking for castmates!).

small -1 here. the roll call memes recently are just a lot of headers with hardly any responses, and even those who respond aren't much in terms of quality (That Rogue comes to mind).

meme visibility is helpful, though. seconding that.

I had days mixed up and thought it was already the 7th, whoops. Hopefully they will get in, they were great on the TDM.

i'm not in the game but i have the ezra player there on my plurk and she seems to be having fun with the rest of the star wars cast.
