the only reason i haven't moved entirely over to f-list is quality control. dwrp has a host of its own issues, but when i engage someone over here, i'm pretty much guaranteed they will be a good writer. yes yes subjectivity blah blah but it's not all that easy to find someone who's a good, literate writer over on f-list.

i don't mind shitty, who-cares-about-canon plotless smut with my characters over there sometimes, but it's like, the difference between coming home to a steady partner and going out and getting intoxicated and having wild sex you won't really remember. the latter might be more fun and exciting in the moment but the former is much more comfortable and rewarding.

i dont really relate because i found good consistent writers over there to play with. i will admit it took a long fucking time, as opposed to dwrp where i run into someone that plays from my canon AND is a good writer almost instantly, but it was so worth it in the end

RP-wise, restless and also kind of jealous, TBH.

I just apped back into my favorite game, and I'm super excited to be there, but I'm basically a new kid again, since in the time I was away, most of my favorite RP partners have left and the rest are caught up in CR and plots with people who came in after my last run, so for now, it really doesn't feel like I have anyone to talk RP with or like I'm in on any plotting/gushing/shitposting. I know that's going to change as I get going again, but in the meantime, I still can't help missing feeling like I'm "part of the gang" and will always have something to look forward to.

okay, rping sex between two characters doesn't mean you're attracted to either of them, but even if OP was attracted to their underaged characters

anime teenagers and LA teenagers are nothing like real teenagers. anime teenagers are drawings. you usually cannot tell the difference between an anime character who is meant to be 16 and an anime character who is meant to be 18. plenty of artists draw characters who look way younger or older than their stated canon age. finding an anime 16-year-olds hot has absolutely zero correlation to finding human 16-year-olds hot. and LA teenagers are usually played by actors in their 20s, so being attracted to them sure as hell doesn't indicate pedophilia either.

sexualizing actual underage celebrities is creepy, but fictional characters is a completely different ballpark. don't understand this argumet at all.
