Yes. It helps that all the other characters are really, really good. Plus, they've toned down the "YOSHA LUCKYYYYYYYYY" to like, 2-3 per episode I think.

I actually don't think the voice acting is that bad. It's not great, but it's fine. Not terrible, not great, but it's fine.

I'm really enjoying the game, though. I've always wanted to experience Zelda in this way! There are so many ways to do just about everything and there's just so much to explore and see! Plus, I like that bombs are a thing you just have now instead of having to continually buy them. Rolling bombs into Bokoblin camps is a lot of fun.

This is my jam, anon. We could do some weird DID related RP if you want.

It was a visual novel with ero themes, yes and it had three main story routes: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel. Apart from the original VN though the series tend to stick to more to fanservice and sexually implicit themes rather than overt sex.

UBW and Fate routes have their own full length TV series (UBW is the most recent animated release in the Fate series), and HF is getting a trilogy of movies. UBW also had a movie some years back before the series was made.

Fate/Zero is also a full series and is set before F/SN.

My personal recommendations would be to watch Fate/Zero, then watch FSN: UBW, either the movie or series depending on how much time you want to spend on it. Those two will probably do you well in terms of enjoyable shows to watch and they're visually very impressive in that way Ufotable do decent stuff.

The original FSN series is a bit of ymmv. It's dated now, and personally, I don't like the Fate route or Shiro and Saber's dynamic together, so for me it's a pretty boring and unenjoyable watch, but that's not everyone's feeling.

imo Zero has the most interesting stand alone story and you could get away with watching that on its own for the story and themes of the Fate world quite easily. UBW is okay, the plot is more interesting than Fate. HF is the most interesting story imp and is grittier but until the movie comes out there's no watchable material for it.

2) i became explicitly aware of it when i was around 15 or so, i believe, though i honestly don't remember what brought that on. there were definite indicators of it throughout my childhood, specifically after my molestation. i was five and on top of other issues, i began to have very morbid sexual fantasies that i now realize no child should have been having because from what i can recall, it was... bad. my interest in guro continued to escalate after other traumatic events throughout my childhood, for a while it basically became my crutch and coping mechanism for many things.
3) uh, not very much? my close friends know and so does my girlfriend. they don't really care, and my closest friends also like guro to some degree (albeit not for the same reasons i do) so it's whatever.
4) thinking about whatever kinks or fetishes my family may be into grosses me out so no.
5) i'm faint of heart and don't like blood or guts, can't stand splatter films or even light gore, can barely look at drawn gore without feeling disgusted. guro was - and i'll explain why i say "was" in a second, just a completely mental fantasy thing for me. i would imagine bloody scenarios in my head and get turned on by them, but the moment i looked at anything visually, would get sick and scared. most i ever jacked off to was fic.

for the past few months, i've been trying to distance myself from guro and all the things that came with it. what started as a "healthy" coping mechanism began to consume me, made me miserable, humiliated, and unhappy... i started to scare myself. i don't want to go into detail but it was just taking over me, and it made me feel controlled by my trauma. lately i haven't been turned on at all by it and when it's brought up (by said friends into guro) i just feel disgusted. i think i'm a lot happier for it and i really want it to stay this way.

Fellow Beastmasters, how goes the search for Bulvinkel? I haven't so much as caught sight of him yet.

I have, however, tamed Lightning Paw three times in the past 48 hours. For a spirit beast, his respawn time is incredibly short.

I like the setting of the labyrinth quite a bit, actually. I haven't seen a lot of games around that are heavy on ancient mythology, so you're in the clear as far as that goes. (and honestly even if it was I wouldn't care. I love ancient stuff as a setting.)

I think the overarching plot needs refinement though. As the anon above said there's been a lot of faction games, so I think you'd need to either solidify your concept. Why are the PCs involved in this fight? Why should they care?

Yeah, Lightning Paw's easy to get. I've tamed him more than once and there's been little-to-no competition on my server. I only ever saw one other hunter camping one of the bushes.

His spawn time's fairly short and I don't think many people actually know about him, which might be why he's proven so easily obtainable.
