tell them that they're pissing you off. it's one thing for them to think 'you just don't love yourself enough' or w/e excuse they've made up in your head for going against your wishes, but if you sit them down (and i think this is something you're going to have to do in person so they can see the effect it has on you), explain to them that it's not just condescending, it's annoying as all shit. explain how close you are to wanting to cut contact because of how it's making you feel, especially since you've asked them to stop and they're ignoring your wishes, which is a pretty valid concern. even if it's over something 'so little', it's still something that you're asking for that's easily attainable and they're oddly sticking to their guns.

I saw some of Unicorn on TV and I've been hooked on it ever since.

some people are really fast, and i appreciate that, but i'd say the majority and average pace is medium.

agreeing with most people focusing on events. still, there are individual plots, and open logs/network posts get a good amount of traffic.

Yep. Plus people sometimes prioritize certain threads or CR, so you may be waiting on a tag for a bit if there are other things going on. It happens, especially when people end up taking on a lot of threads for an event like the current one.

There's a broad range all around so there's good chance you'll find some people that click with you.

As someone who loved the original idea, I'm not too sure I dig the gods vs mortals thing. I liked the individualism/status quo concept you described quite a bit more.

Mostly, I'm not keen on only one side getting special god favors while the other side is stuck with what they already have. Sure, that side would likely attract a lot of stronger-in-canon characters, but there are a lot of completely unpowered characters that would still opt for the pro-immortality side and if they have nothing to do but sit behind the stronger PCs it's not going to be much fun to play.

Part of the fun of god blessings at games like Eachdraidh was that they're open to all characters, so you aren't so limited by what canon gives you. That's especially important in a PvP game to level the playing field a bit, otherwise some people's characters just aren't going to have much to do.

It's a neat idea story-wise, but roleplay-wise having one side essentially be Hard Mode dependent on people apping their stronger characters there is going to make it tricky for weaker characters. And, immortality is a huge enough draw that a lot of characters just would not take the cool god bonuses over a chance at immortality. I think you're going to end up with a vast majority of characters on the immortality side, with a decent chunk of them not able to contribute much.

In general, I think two opposing ideals like order/chaos or status quo/individuality would work better than "mortality but you get perks" and "immortality but no perks". Immortality is just too appealing of an option, and only one side getting god bonuses just wouldn't be as fun.
