Due to DC Universe being a wild place, the game's plots range from superhero, to straight sci fi, to occasional fantasy and horror.

The game has quite a few upcoming plots over the next few months that new players may enjoy, everything from fighting time-traveling menaces, fixing broken timelines, and fighting an evil dictator version of Superman; to fighting a nano-zombie plague; to stopping the spirit of God's Vengeance from mass murdering an entire prison planet. Teen characters aged 14-16 can also participate in a plot facing the Other Mother from Coraline, who has infested the ship and is immune to being sensed by adults.

former friend/rp partner disappeared for two years without a word. not a damn word. i actually thought she was dead. turns out she was just fine, but off doing other things under a different alias and couldn't be bothered to let me know once in a while that she was, you know. breathing. now she's bored, so she wants to start hanging out again. after two years of radio silence.

man, this exact thing happened to me a few months back and i really don't think we're talking about the same person. so not only are people this delusional, they exist in the plural.

Another problem I have with it is the fact that ISPs sure as hell won't use that profit to provide lower monthly service costs and better infrastructure to their customer base. We all know it will go straight into the pockets of the higher ups in the company. It wouldn't be nearly so bad if the money went into a fund to upgrade infrastructure, reduce monthly costs for customers, or even to eliminate the need for many of the fees we have to pay.

on the one hand, i agree with you that all these people suddenly going "isps can sell your information now!!!" is silly when a) they could always do that, and b) the bill to block the new regulations has only gone through the senate

on the other hand, it's one thing for companies like Google and Facebook to use this model, which, while still kind of shady, can at least be justified by the fact that it's to pay for a service they provide that's otherwise free

i don't know if you've checked your internet bill lately, but isps don't provide a free service. these practices are just extra money in their pockets, at no benefit to the consumer, who is the one having their information sold without being notified. it also means isps don't have to disclose when leaks happen, which is a big deal considering there's PII involved

exactly what it says. i loved the animated teen titans show as a kid and terra/raven was baby's first femslash for me. i have a preference for playing terra, but i have experience playing both girls, so i can switch if necessary.
