why the fuck does it need any of those? the game's still fun. for someone insisting you're not whining, you sure are carrying on about how the game not being as big and fast as it used to be is somehow terrible.

i think you might have a sore spot because you got pretty heated over the fact that i'm saying people shouldn't get their hopes up for more apps? it's just a fact. the game may still be fun for you, but i'm seeing a lot more people dropping and losing interest than there are people who are excited to be here

you didn't hit a sore spot. *you're* the one carrying on like the game is doomed.

it's not doomed to die in the next few months or anything. maybe not even this year. however it is on a down-swing that i highly doubt it'll recover from. either they map out end game and it goes out on a small but decent note or they drag it out like some games that should have died much earlier than when they were put down.

being on a downswing isn't a bad thing. it happens to every game. you're not pointing out anything terrible, so maybe stop acting like it is.

DYING HAPPENS TO EVERY GAME

OURS IS ON AN INEVITABLE DEATH SPIRAL STARTING WITH DISINTEREST FROM OUR PLAYERS AND MODS WHICH HAS ALREADY CAUGHT WIND TO OTHERS OUTSIDE THE GAME AND THAT'S WHY WE'RE GETTING LESS THAN 10 APPS IN A TWO WEEK APP CYCLE AND 8 DROPPED PLAYERS (10 DROPPED CHARACTERS)

Trolling exaggerations aside man I just want us to be self aware instead of throwing up blinders and pretending everything is rainbows and sunshine until this game becomes the same beaten dead horse like say Luceti

not for nothing anon, but using number of characters is pretty useless when ayrt is using the comparison of luceti, which had well over over 200 characters when it started circling the drain and was still one of the bigger games around when it finally died. even if you account for games in general being bigger back then, number of characters has never been a good indicator of game stability.

but it's 100 some odd characters where most of them are active, so

active but not really doing much? it's time to move toward endgame

what do you mean "active but not really doing much" though? if you mean the plot moving along, despite it being the holiday, we just had a pretty major plot event go down with the Musicians sublplot finally ending and Dinah starting to make her moves on Iria. A lot of people participated, even despite holiday slowness.

i'm not saying endgame wouldn't be appreciated, if that's where we're at, but the idea there's nothing going on in the game is straight up false

there's a small group of people actually pursuing the plot out of those hundred characters. THAT is what I mean. if endgame doesn't come soon, very few characters will actually care to be involved in it

that wasn't a small group of people. that was, like, half the game involved in all three sections, which is remarkable considering it was holiday season.

It's pretty dismissive to ignore the activity in the game just because it's not to your interest for whatever reason.

i agree. i wish the people complaining would just drop and move on rather than potentially ruin it for the rest of us still having fun

as dismissive as it is to assume the game is dying just because the activity going on isn't ringing your bells, it's just as bad to say their presence is ruining things for anyone else. no one is ruining anything.
