... Seriously, given all the searches we've done as a community in the past, I'm kind of shocked no one ever mounted one for Blue.

that's not true, it's just she didn't leave a lot of info about herself out in the open. those who did have more information already tried their best to contact her.

From what I saw, Blue never rped before on dw before opening Haven. Her plurk was basically a mod plurk about the game, personal details about her rarely ever given out. She may as well have been an anon mod. The other mods tried and couldn't reach her in the end.

this may be difficult for you to wrap your head around, but there are actually people out there who just don't talk about their lives outside rp much

as a player who was in most of the plurks where she revealed things about herself, I just know what she looks like, that she was from the UK, and that she presumably worked an office job.

i'm actually really concerned that 'family emergency' meant 'personal illness'. i hope blue's okay.

not to sound creepy or anything, but if you know what she looks like, does that mean she posted selfies? it'd be a long shot, but reverse image search might pull up a facebook or something if she ever posted them anywhere else.

though it is possible that something happened to make her want to make a solid break with past stuff for whatever reason, be it positive or negative. as nice as it would be to hear that she's all right, if she did make the choice to disappear, it was her choice to make.

yeah, that's why i'm not trying to actively mount a search: i'd love to hear if she was okay because the suddenness of it makes me worry about her personal safety (she'd update about even relatively short mod absences) but if it was her choice, it was her choice.

I liked Blue and hope she's okay and I liked the game but you guys really need to let go of your Blue obsession. It's been two years.

anon above said she didn't give out personal info about herself and used her plurk as a mod plurk. i get wondering what happened after an abrupt disappearance, sometimes i wonder what happened to people i used to rp with years ago, but it's an idle curiosity. i never knew them well enough to angst about their well being years later.

so i'm agreeing with anon you responded to. it does sound a little like an obsession.
