Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

That's going to depend on the person. If they only have furry porn then yeah, they'll be in trouble unless someone is actually looking for an artist that can do that. If they've drawn other stuff then that's their portfolio. If it comes down to it, even some of the porn could be useful as long as the X rated parts are cropped out, but again it all depends on the artist.

is2g, my grandparents switched to them from at&t and they constantly need to either reset the router 50 times a day or call tech support, idk how the huge pain in the ass is worth saving money.

it depends, usually what I see is a quick note somewhere like "let me know if we have too much going on" when two people are doing threads across multiple memes. and that seems to work!

personally I don't mind it if I am having fun and can handle multiple concurrent threads with the same player/character. some prefer finishing up a thread before carrying on another, though, especially if they want some continuity to carry over.

But what you describe screams either the router is the issue or something is going on in the line. Is it a separate router and modem or a combo unit? And did the ISP provide it or did they have it from AT&T?

They did. RT and 343 Industries are kind of partners with the whole thing now. 343 has RvB stuff as part of their Halo museum.

(Not defending RT, I think they're all a bunch of assholes. But the RvB stuff is legit.)

they gave my grandparents one router after they switched and then replaced it with a new one figuring that it was the problem.

when the tech guy comes over, it tends to work longer than it does when we just reset the router but it's never permanent and it's annoying.
