I checked out that Pekoe game on VNDB and it says it's a short game with no voice acting.

If VA was cool with publishers handling their non-Key stuff, that sounds like a cheap thing to license.

honestly i've always wondered why mods of locked games don't allow old players to stay joined under a personal journal or something so they can keep access to their threads. like, what's the logic in keeping them locked out? they already know what goes on in the game, they were in it.

removing character journals I can kinda see, to prevent people from continuing to play in the game after dropping or being swept by ac, but other games don't force players to drop on-going threads when they drop. so it just makes it harder to wrap stuff up.

really all it does is foster a culture where people will hold out longer than they should in a game because they don't want to lose their threads.

it wouldn't be an issue for me honestly if not for the fact that once you tag, it reloads all the comments on that page in the log. which means in a game where people will have toplevel comments that span into the 100s, the page takes forever and loads like ass, and then you have to go back and find the thread you were tagging when it gets a reply.

if it could load the captcha in the same window and put in the reply like from normal thread view, i can guarantee it wouldn't be the huge deal that people treat it as.

that's why it's perfect for babes of the tit

I apped in and am excited to play! But the game just opened yesterday (1/13) so I can't really say yet how it's going. Since it's a new game, the best way is to app in and see for yourself imo!

- art is inconsistent enough for it to bug me (i hate using icons of pbs from different movies or shows for the same reason)
- a lot of the nice art includes the character wearing a mask which bugs me because i mostly write them in civvies
- the good icon sets available (without the mask) are used by everyone who plays the character already and this bugs me, though i admit this one is purely irrational and probably not a valid excuse
- more people tag me with a la pb

honorable mention:
- when i still played a poc comic character, there were almost no artists who drew/colored them looking anything but very, very white, and it made it look like the icons were for several different unrelated characters of different races and it was just too weird and annoying to not have a pb

curious why no to all non-humanoid except E. what's the difference between fucking an alien that looks more animal than human and fucking a human in animal-form?

i'll be straight here, anon, but you need to tell him just flat out no. 'is that okay?' 'no.' this is less about the t-shirt size and more about the fact that he's not actually listening to the words coming out of your mouth. 'this doesn't fit me' shouldn't have him buying you it anyway. it makes no sense. it's a waste of money on his end and you end up with a gift you can't use.

other than him trying to subconsciously or manipulatively get you to lose weight to fit in it, there's no reason for him to get you something that doesn't fit. and if that's what he is doing, then you need to stop that shit fast.

because it's a locked game. that means locked to current players. locked games work differently than open games, and that includes not being able to wrap shit up when you drop (and frankly, i rarely see anyone wrap up threads after they drop in open games.)

if you let older players stay in the game, that defeats the purpose of keeping it locked, and it adds to the shit stirring quality of why a game is locked in the first place. someone who's a shit stirrer drops, but they can stay in with a personal journal and oh look, shit stirring is still going on.

tbh, if you're going to drop and your past threads are that important to you, take the time in a day to figure out how to save them before you drop. i've never had an urge to re-read old threads, and not everyone does, so there's no reason for a game to cater to someone's nostalgic desire.

this is why i will never join a locked game no matter how much i love the premise tbh

when op used krogans as an example, i assumed they meant monstrous looking bipeds. if it doesn't look like an earth animal i'd be dtf even if it doesn't look human. but if it does i'm out.

I honestly think I'm going to end up dropping. As someone that's applied within the last 6 months I'm struggling with getting a groove in the game. All the plots feel like more like an information dump and I'm left feeling lost with what's going on half the time. I feel like this game is more for those that have been in it the last year or so.

i started tracking how many tags i write and it's been helpful in gauging my activity. i usually don't track things like boomeranged network threads (or tfln) but otherwise i log everything.

(ftr: i usually get about 80-100 tags a week, depending on my mood.)

do you know what the word "most" means, anon?

i try to clear out my inbox at least once a day, so however much that ends up amounting to.

they did this in CoA, I REALLY hope they do it in Tana
