rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

the latest iterations of either franchise weren't that good imo, but regardless both symphogear and macross are good series worth looking into

Eh, symph GX was a fine filler season. The Hibiki stuff was executed really awkwardly but at least it gave her personality in the earlier seasons some context, and I thought the Tsubasa family stuff was interesting.

Really, it's big problem is just too many fights, but at least it had really good music and animation to make up for that.

And Macross Delta... well, the first half was really good.

my problem with gx is that I can't stand carol and how the show wants us to feel bad for her even though she is a horrible person, and then topdad appears and it goes from bad to worse
