rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

putin fancies himself an anti-fascist, irony of ironies, and would never legitimately support a candidate like trump. that's just how things actually are in the real world.

putin is ex-kgb. don't pretend that trump offends that psycho. fascist, communist, whatever... dictators are dictators.

no one thinks trump offends him, but you'd be stupid if you think he likes him.

this is the same dude that risked starting a third world war to go into crimea and keep neo-nazis from killing ethnic russians in that region, not to mention his significantly more blunt and direct actions against isis vs what we've done in the US. russian fascist-nationalists have just kind of "disappeared" while he's in office. he's a bad dude. if you think he'd be legit buttbuddies with an impotent living huitlacoche like trump instead of just humoring so he can use him later, you're not paying attention to who putin is and what he does. that's not "woobifying" him, that's just facts.

The only reason I can see Putin liking Trump in office is because it thoroughly weakens the american government's reputation, giving him a reason to apply some brute force payback for the cold war business he got powerful from.

among other things. he stands to gain a lot from a trump presidency, and none of it is to trump's actual benefit.

that and trump has already proven that he'd gladly be putin's stooge for some cash.

well that's a ridiculous point to make. it's like saying the sky is blue like it's some sort of revelation. putin doesn't like ANYONE but himself.

besides anons in this thread implying putin and trump were in bed together, which you seemed to miss, there are plenty of people out there who think they have a legit friendship, flying in the face of all facts to the contrary. it's an actual talking point in the media.
