The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i think the issue is that the thread wasn't about you, the game clearly wasn't designed to appeal to you, and you came in and made it about a personal problem that no one else was raising. sorry to hear that ayrt's game won't suit you, but y'know, it happens.

that's not what it is at all. op was asking for a game and someone else came in and said 'i'm doing this thing', so it's more like op asking for pie and that anon coming in to say 'i have orange pie' and me going 'eww, orange pie, cherry would be nicer'.

no, but thanks for playing. it was someone offering x and me going "i hate x, i wish there were more ys, i'm going to my corner to sulk." i didn't ask them to do anything or not do anything, just expressed that i didn't like it and i wish we had more of things i liked.

Well, yes. You responded to the mod of a game in development specifically to shit on their project. The kinder interpretation is to assume that your comment could be read as "hey, AYRT, you should make a game more appealing to DWRP at large, including people like me" and not "I'm going to take a thread that has nothing relevant to me and whine loudly, pretending all the while that this is somehow my personal corner and people are attacking me out of the blue." The former isn't nice, but at least it's productive.

I get your pain re: not wanting more m/m, but let me clarify a thing. When you start your own threads, they are statements into the void. When you reply to a thread, your statements will be taken in the context of that thread. The context of this thread was "OP wants to know about new games in development so that they can join one". The reply was "I'm making this m/m game!" Your statement was on-topic (if rude) if you were exclusively commenting on the m/m game, but in the larger context of "new games for OP", kind of pointless and self-centered.

May I just point out the irony in you saying 'I hate x, I wish there were more y's' when you were originally saying you wanted more female players and were sick of dick-on-dick for days.

Do you have a good recipe? I've been looking for a good cherry pie but I've never made one before, and I'm sort of nervous about being judged for my attempts because I know all the pie-eaters in this pie community are pretty good at ripping baking enthusiasts apart for crusts that are too dry or using the wrong proportions of ingredients...
