Rundown:

rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

do you prefer

- perfect, completely ic tags, incredibly well written, but the tags are slow and sometimes you don't finish threads 100%.

- decent tags, sometimes the characterization or writing isn't perfect-- but they boomerang tags and finish threads quickly.

I myself can't boomerang tags most of the time, so 1. I don't require my RP partners to be "perfect" but whether they get back to me in five minutes or 2-3 days doesn't really matter to me when I can't boomerang back so I might as well pick the one that is of SOME benefit to me.

It depends on what you mean by slow though. If we're getting into once a week territory, then 2.

In reality what I usually get is people in the middle, who write good but not perfect tags, and hit me back once every 1-2 days. I think that's my ideal more than either extreme.

This is how I feel, too. I don't even mind once-a-week tags from one of my rp partners, since I have others who do tag more often.

Plus I don't think it's possible to be 100% IC in rp setting, anyway.

The latter, tbh. Shitty characterisation kills all motivation for me. I put a lot of time into making my tags interested and well-characterised, so it's nice to have RP partners with the same standard for themselves.

Then by some miracle, ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE you find a rp partner who both boomerangs and writes beautiful, completely ic tags that are easy to respond to and involve character insight, motivation AND DESCRIPTIONS LKSDJFLKFJ

Fucking hell how many times are we going to HAVE this thread? Nearly everyone prefers faster tags. Nobody is expecting professional writing. FFS

Maybe not everyone comes here every day and reads every single comment?
