This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

What are your favorite events/events you'd like to see in the future?

Personally I'm hoping that the VIP flood happens again, I'd love to play that one with my newer character.

My #1 of all time "please bring this back" event is the Repo! port where half the Barge fell overboard. It was gory and brutal (so not good for, like, right now) but amazing.

Also: Vanquish port, Gotham port, dream sharing flood (maybe we need a little more time to pass on that one too), powerswap flood, pirate breach...

YES. I missed the repo and the Vanquish first time round. but it's definitely time we had another VIP flood, it's a thing I'd love from the CR I have now.

I'm burnt out on breaches right now so I hope we get a little break from them. Making AUs is fun but actually playing them tends not to be as exciting. I'd love some more interesting ports instead, here's hoping this upcoming one will have lots to do!

As far as floods go, the last three have all involved psychological changes of some sort, I'd like to see powerswap, dream sharing, daemons, or something else where our characters are still totally themselves. A VIP flood would be great too.

i'm new enough to have missed the dream sharing but those and memory shares are my favorite sort of events, i hope they make a comeback!

So now that the HMD post is up, is anyone going to have the cojones to crit Pepper's shitty Luke? Watching the rest of the SW cast back away instead of continuing to engage this melt down in progress is starting to get sadder than it is funny.

I actually really like her RPing (other than the shipping which IA is sometimes questionable), so I wish I was less frustrated by the abundant flakiness. I'm not in the SW cast but I am backing away from her solely because I'm tired of having my threads constantly dropped. If they're doing the same, I'm guessing that's why.

No but I don't use the backstories enough to want to spend a lot of time on them. You could request more time between the breach/flood/whatever being announced and when it starts, though, the mods are pretty good at listening.

I can't believe that "No" is currently winning on the "should there be an area for anonymous mod contact?" question. That's the one thing that this game has really been missing and I always assumed it was just a leftover from the Rei days, not something the playerbase actually liked.

as someone not in the game... is there anything stopping players from, uh, pming the mods if they want "anonymous mod contact"?

i get that people would want it for rei, i never even played there and i know she was nuts. but she's been ancient history for years now and, iirc, the current tlv mods are a pretty sane bunch. is this one of those "we want the thing just to have it" things?
