rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

can anyone tell me what the game is like? pace, events, getting cr, etc

Slow and incredibly relaxed. It's a good backburner game for most of the players and it's very much make-your-own-fun with the occasional mod event for flavor. If you're used to faster-paced games it might throw you for a loop. As far as making CR, I've found that people tag out often and put up posts more or less regularly, so it's fairly easy to get threads. However in my experience it's harder to establish deep cross-canon CR since again this is a backburner game for most people so threads sometimes take longer or never move past smalltalk. That doesn't mean you can't if you work at it and we have a very wide variety of characters and players so chances are you'll hit it off with someone. My advice is to go in with a strong plan for your character and some ideas for goals you want to achieve with them so you have something to drive them forward while you build up CR.

It is a very slow and relaxed game. If you are looking for a more quick-paced / intense rping experience, it might not be the game for you, but if you are looking for a side-game, or a main game, but you are not the kind of person who has tons of time to invest (or who just wants something chill), it could be the game for you.

It's very 'choose your own adventure', in that you can do whatever you want. There are some mod events, but not too frequent, so it is mostly make your own fun. It probably works best if you have a character who can easily set their own goals.

CR wise, I haven't really seen anyone have any trouble getting tags.

One thing that does have to be said though is that the mods can be a little slow. Things like getting accepted to the game, updating certain pages and other stuff can take several days, so if you are the kind of person who really wants their mods to constantly be on top of stuff and quick responses and what not, you'll have to take that into consideration.
