Eh, symph GX was a fine filler season. The Hibiki stuff was executed really awkwardly but at least it gave her personality in the earlier seasons some context, and I thought the Tsubasa family stuff was interesting.

Really, it's big problem is just too many fights, but at least it had really good music and animation to make up for that.

And Macross Delta... well, the first half was really good.

my little brother is the living embodiment of entitlement. he's a 20 year old high school dropout who lives at home with my mom, and he's one of those people that's failed his way through life but still thinks he's a winner thanks to never quite falling all the way to the bottom.

he's jobless, and has been so for a year after being fired from walmart for falling for a scam and costing them a lot of money, and despite mom oftentimes struggling to make ends meet. he believes he's going to be a rock and roll star thanks to teaching himself to poorly play the guitar, and aside from occasionally practicing with it, all he does is play video games, sleep 10-12 hours at a time, and spend upwards of three hours a day in the shower.

for some utterly inexplicable reason, he has a girlfriend that dotes on him, despite him treating her like shit and routinely blowing off everything she wants from him. she pays for anything he wants, really, like food, games, his phone, and, oh, say... a cockatiel. mom already has a dog and a cat, that's the max number of pets her apartment allows, but he wanted a bird. he was asked, told, and begged not to get one, everyone told him it was a terrible idea, but he still got one. it's loud and mean thanks to him getting bored of it after a few months and treating it like a toy to get out for ten minutes a day before trying to get mom to take care of it for him while he and girlfriend go out for chicken wings (leaving mom to enjoy a ham sandwich, because she can't cook, because the teflon fumes from the only pans she has will kill the bird, because the new pots and pants he totally swore he'd get along with the bird never materialized).

there's so much more i could say, but i hate even thinking about the little prick. i can only hope mom eventually decides she's had enough and lays down the law on him sooner rather than later.

i like the pic prompt meme because i might not have a solid idea for what scenario i'd like, but i wanna tag that character. generally pictures tend to just get an overview of the theme i'd be interested in, not a definite thread direction
