route_29. I've been in over a dozen games during my years in DWRP and Route was the game where I felt the most welcome, the most involved, and could have the most fun without worrying about being judged for playing out stuff that could be seen as pretty damn stupid.

also the mods seriously had their shit together and the game-wide events were awesome.

orrrrrr the player left for other reasons, like not feeling a character anymore or being busy? idk how you're getting "the game is shit now" from any of this, people leave games they love for all kinds of reasons, it doesn't have to be negative.

alternatively, it's because route doesn't exist anymore and has since turned into victory road, so it's not the same game anymore technically speaking.
