rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

possibly? i have someone that keeps tagging me and i've dropped every thread. i'm excited every time, i enjoy the character, and there's potential with their starters or mine but every single time they are the dullest piece of dirt i've ever dealt with. no introspection, dialog is minimal, and there's barely any actions or gestures. they ignore any and all of my hooks (questions, extreme movements, changing to different settings, whatever). this is an extreme case but there are others i feel the same about who aren't like pulling teeth.

sometimes i just don't have fun with people. all writing doesn't have to be great, but a lot of people who i get tags from think they're good or are popular in their games but are really boring as hell and just play the right character and have the right friends.

check your shit, make sure there's something to reply to and its relevant to the meme, and if all else fails just don't tag that person. some really won't ever tag back even if you're literally a really good writer that's fun to play with. some will do it for minor dumb reasons and some will do it because they're full of themselves. some people just are lazy or caught up in games or friends. don't use it as an excuse to blame it on the other player and try to re-evaluate and re-energize your own writing. it sucks if it's a rare canon mate or a friend playing the character but just shrug and move on. it can really eat you up if you start stressing over it, anon.
