(Anonymous) 2016-05-18 06:54 am (UTC)(link)I've never been in a relationship like this before. A few short ones, a few that sputtered and stopped. I know I'm supposed to wait a few more months or until we've spent more time together in person. I know I should wait until we've been through some rough times, since people say that's how you really know you love someone. I spend so much time reading contradictory or unhelpful "when should you say it" or "how do you know" articles and debating in my head if it's "real" or if I'm just infatuated. All the "no one falls in love this fast" articles or requirements or whatnot.
But you make me happier than I've been in a long time. Every text or sweet word lights me up, and maybe it's not real genuine love yet. But I just want to say it so bad. Not to hear something back, but because I feel like I'll burst if I don't tell you, and because you deserve to hear it so many times.
I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you. Thank you for filling me up with so much joy again. I hope, someday, I'll be brave enough and sure enough to tell you.
