Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

does anyone have any remedies for itchy nipples?

i've seen my doctor but she brushed off my complaint once i told her that there was no strange discharge or signs of infection. i've been putting vaseline on them but it hasn't helped and it's getting unbearable. any advice, anons?

First, sacrifice a child to the Lord of Light.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-10 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll sacrifice a child, a virgin and a goat if it gets this itching to stop.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-10 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Well preferably the child would be a virgin you sick fuck. It's clear now your nipple chafing is a well deserved curse.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-10 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)
uh yeah that's why a child doesn't count for a virgin sacrifice

(Anonymous) 2016-05-10 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
No wonder your nipples have been cursed, you don't get how this works at all. It all stacks.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-10 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
No it doesn't. What the hell kind of cut-rate cosmic horrors have you even been dealing with? The child, the virgin, and the animal sacrifice all have to be separate entities, you can't just sacrifice one baby goat that can outrun the farmer and have done with it.

Demon cultists these days, no sense of tradition.

You're an diot, I hope your nipples explode in hellfire. All human qualities stack, animals are a separate sphere altogether. A virgin child of royal blood with green eyes seventh son is more than the sum of its parts. Quality is the point, quantity is for losers.

Yeah, and how did that work out for Stannis again?

(Anonymous) 2016-05-11 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
Perfectly. He no longer has to worry about itchy nipples.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-10 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe nipple balm? It's usually used for breastfeeding mums since - well, I'm sure you can guess. I always like Bepanthol/Bepanthen for other itches, that might work.

Do you have a decent pharmacy near you? Maybe they can give better recommendations.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll try both of those and hope something works. My pharmacy is staffed mostly by freshly graduated kids and one crusty old man, buy if push comes to shove I'll check there too.

keep an eye on those itchy nips. if anything weird happens with them (like the nipple inverting) go back to the doctor asap.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-10 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
obviously itchy nipples are a sign of the patriarchy

(Anonymous) 2016-05-10 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
It's probably eczema. A light, unscented moisturizer will probably help better that vaseline (and make sure it's unscented because your skin will be more sensitive to scents and dies when it's already flaring, so something with a fragrance to it might make the itching worse), as will giving your tits a chance to air out a bit - bra off, loose shirt on while you're at home, if you can stand going braless. Make your showers quick and tepid, because showering too long an using hot water will just exacerbate the condition. Don't scratch - if you have to, trim your nails short and wear light cotton gloves at night to keep from doing so on accident. Start using soaps and detergents for sensitive skin, in case it's an allergic reaction to something.

If it persists, go back to the doctor and ask for a prescription for eczema on your nipples - there are otc treatments, but they aren't always great to use on your tits.

Make sure to go back to the doctor immediately if your nipples start crusting or appear discolored, because while it's probably just eczema or an allergic rash, there's the possibility of something more serious.

oh thank goodness i was really confused

as a sufferer of eczema and really sensitive skin, it wouldn't hurt to ask your doctor to recommend you a dermatologist since they'll be the ones who can really tell what's wrong with you. since you don't have any swelling or discharge yet, it seems you won't need to get an injection of steroids/something like that and can skip straight to getting recommend if you have eczema.

for now also avoid eating spicy or heavily flavoured food and eat some bland shit like bananas and breads and drinks lots of water. spices in my experience triggered or flared my eczema badly but this could be a personal experience so yeah.

like an anon said, its best you stop using scented soaps and lotions since that can irritate your nipples big time. i use cetaphil wash and soap and the plain dove soap and they've been dreams for my skin ever since.

good luck anon.

seconding cetaphil. i have extremely sensitive skin, and it is a dream for not causing any irritation whatsoever but getting my skin nice and clean.
