Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

diet has a lot more to do with weight than activity does tho

and btw you don't have to eat junk to get fat. "healthy" foods like oils, avocados, and nuts have a ton of calories for their portion sizes

a list of what i'll eat on any given day.
a mug of tea
my meal of the day, which can be anything from pasta+meat of some kind (kd w/tuna or beef, pasta and sauce w/chicken/beef/pork), or rice+meat (half a cup of rice and half a chicken breast or small pork chop), or 2 pancakes w/honey or jam or peanut butter.
maybe a half bowl of cereal (cheerios or shreddies) or if i have it, yogurt or cottage cheese w/fruit 6+ hours later if i'm still hungry before bed.
water throughout the day. (orange/apple juice if i had enough to get some)

i have a limited diet as i have a stomach disorder and food intolerances and i can only afford cheap as shit food since i'm on welfare. so it's a really bad combo of not having the best diet (not eating a few small meals a day instead of one medium sized one), and not having the funds for healthier foods/better eating habits. food banks don't really help and you sure as hell don't get healthy alternatives from them. the most unhealthy things i've eaten have been things i've gotten from the food bank. after a certain point, you just stop caring about how many calories are in what and you look at what you can afford that will last you the month, but i don't think i get anything that's too bad. i'm just not active, and that doesn't help. (can't eat nuts and i don't use oils in my food. i do on occasion (like every 3-4 months) snag an avocado, but it's not something i use all in one sitting and it's not often enough to have a serious effect on my caloric intake).

i'm so tired of whiny bitches going "but i eat good food! why am i not skinny?"

bitch, your body doesn't judge where the calories come from. if there are more calories in you than your body can burn off, the fuel turns to fat. it doesn't matter where the calories come from.

fuck's sake!

uh

no

what

by this logic you could eat nothing bit chips and candy and be perfectly healthy as long as you didn't eat too much of it, and that's patently not true

your body absolutely cares where its calories come from

>you could eat nothing bit chips and candy and be perfectly healthy

no one said that you'd be HEALTHY if you ate nothing but chips and candy. what was said was that you could still be skinny eating just that as long as you didn't eat too much of it. you can eat below your calorie limit with just junk and be skinny, or you could eat nothing but an excess of organic produce and product that blows your calorie limit and still get fat

healthy food =/= automatically skinny. the calories in those healthy foods still count

that was the point
