the only time i felt genuinely snubbed was when my rp partner consistently did only 1 to 3 word tags at me

UNLESS it's a boring contentless tag. tag length doesn't necessarily bear on how interesting the tag is, i've known people who can pack information into tags of all length

generally my longest tags are in psls though and the answer is a resounding no for that because 1) if i'm psling with someone i am already confident in their quality 2) i've had enough psls dropped on me that i don't care how long the tag is as long as i get one back

thankfully though, not all of the giveaways are gamestop codes - so far, mew and darkrai have been codes, while jirachi and celebi were nintendo network wi-fi giveaways.

manaphy (june), shaymin (july), victini (september), keldeo (october), and meloetta (december) are all set to be nintendo network events; arceus (august) and genesect (november) are gamestop codes

no idea why it's a combination of codes and wi-fi as opposed to all wi-fi, but at least there's that?

is this rp related? if so yes because this sounds so unhealthy and should not be happening in a hobby as trivial as roleplay

i've always liked it. it's supposed to be cartoon-ish and similar to the original 60s anime, not super pretty high quality animation stuff.

For doing multiple icon (1/?) posts --

Do you tag it all to your partner's tag, or do you tag them once and tag the rest to your first?

Would doing something like the second part of that sentence with the exception of tagging the final icon post back on their's be weird?

If I'm tagging their post, I reply to my own tag because combobreakers take all the fun out of it. If I'm tagging them in a thread, I reply to their tag. The neat alignment of my reply matters more to me than the state of their inbox.

that's shitty advice, jsyk. some people like movie versions as opposed to comic versions. that's why they pick them up. that's why there's a difference.

"Our characters mesh/don't mesh" is obvious but I know a lot of people look for other things too.

it was a series of repeat events, actually. i had this really bad habit of chewing on/sucking on the ends of my pens and more often than i care to admit, i wound up with a mouthful of ink. i'd raise my hand and my teacher would look over at me with one hand over my mouth and one in the air, roll their eyes and just wave me off to the bathroom.

Not OP, but this definitely happens in this hobby more than you might think. Dunno if we're talking about the same person, but I recently escaped someone who fits this to a T.

They're probably talking about me like I was the devil, and from the looks of how many people pat their ass, they're probably believing it, but you just have to move past it and hope that your friends are better than that. Don't let them get to you because you'll be happier without them. Manipulative people like that need to be nipped in the bud.
