I can't name anything really like that that doesn't somehow make it into "you were still kidnapped by spooky NPCs" a la Monad.

Specifically for Estelle Bright. I'd really like to find more of her expressions from the game in specific, if anyone knows where to find rips of those or her expression sheet in a decent size for icons.

I'm thinking about apping here but I'm not sure what the actual game is like. Can any players give me some input? What's the pace/atmosphere/etc like?

i signed up with fr because of all the hype and it was just... okay. not bad, but i don't see why everyone's so into it, ending up dropping it after a couple of months. what's so great about it, anon?

You can be critical of a show's flaws (and there's a lot of them in Steven Universe) and still actually love it still. Ebert and Siskel taught us that.

i wouldn't play one, and wouldn't accept one if i was an app mod. are they really in a lot of games that explicitly don't accept canon ocs? i feel like the only kind of game that would accept one has gotta be more lax on what's appable

it used to be more fun. there was more of a community presence and new genes made dragons and color combos a fun project. but now it's like, there's no way to gain money, dragons are selling for dirt cheap and you can't give them away (even the ones you have to spend an arm and a leg to gene), so it's lost that bit of fun. the only thing i enjoy still are the elemental festivals where you might find a cool skin.

the fandom is primarily tumblr based and has about 10 people active at a time, and i'm the most active. i have almost 700 followers and a lot of times people will link me to their fan creations because they know that's the easiest way to get attention.

it's not a bnf in the older, lj/dw based sense but if anyone's involved in the fandom they know who i am.

it's not as severe as it could be. on good days, i can walk around the house and go outside if it's in the backyard or riding around in the car with someone. i do have a "comfort zone" of safe places i go, though it's only the local bookstore and a very specific drugstore/market kind of thing - and even then, i'm not always comfortable in them (if they're too crowded and whatnot) and i think more times than not i end up panicking and leaving.

on average though, i usually feel too nervous to leave the house at all so i just stay inside and do whatever. it beats my bad days where i can't leave my room at all and will stay in it for days and only come out when i REALLY have to use the bathroom. it just depends.

ah, i got fed up because i couldn't earn money quickly enough to make the lair big enough for all my nests to hatch. i can see how it would have been better if money was easier to get. shame.

yeah, back when i first joined, if you snagged a cool new gene early on and a couple hatch now scrolls, you could gene up a new pair, have a nest, and sell a new dragon for close to a mill, if not more. now, crystal/facet/glimmer (which used to go for 900k with good color combos) are closer to 30k, if you're lucky. and people just aren't buying. so you exalt. i mean, you could train them up and exalt for more, but it's just not worth it in the long run.

this was a few years ago and i'm not in any games right now so i don't know if they're still around. i think they sort of got chased out because by the end they were constantly being name dropped. they weren't a big name but they were definitely not well liked.

most of what i saw was them name dropping people they had grudge wank with and pretending to be other people to try and get the crowd going. i saw a lot of private planning plurks with other minor wankers about planning name drops and how much they hated people etc. mostly petty things. i wouldn't say they were a bad person because they didn't hate anyone but they were into drama way too much.

it would be sort of awkward if i saw them around, but it might be good because there are some things i want to apologize for that i did by the end of their relationships.

I am that partner. I always worry my tags aren't good enough, IC enough, entertaining enough and block myself for hours.

what's the coolest costume you've ever made? what kind of costumes do you do typically? like period pieces or modern or fantasy etc.

i didn't realize exalting was such a big thing at first. i sold a few of my first hatchlings, looking forward to see what happened to them and... bam, exalted. think a couple of them didn't even get names. i know it's dumb getting attached to online images but really? couldn't even wait for them to grow up and breed them first? yeah, really remembering why i ditched it all now.

it's for dominance. the more you exalt, the more points or w/e you get and when you're searching for a dominance push, everything's fodder. cheap dragons get bought and exalted or bought, trained, and exalted when there's a push. there really is just a shitty market over there for turnover. too much breeding and too many dragons and just no way to make a buck. and people still sell shit for WAY too much.

even if she was technically just scouting out his nifty new shiny greninja forme it ended up getting serious halfway through the battle

im gonna enjoy the shitfits that happen now oh boy

screw dominance, i just wish i'd kept my dragons. ending up not exalting a single one, bought or bred, which is dumb, i know. i mostly had to play on mobile, which kept crashing if i did games, so there was basically no way to earn cash except through the marketplace, which required a ton of tapping and checking on a tiny mobile screen, so... far too much effort. fare thee well, dragons. you were too good for this cruel interwebs.
