Total accounts has a low impact on your credit score, and one account won't make a difference. I have a 750+ score and 10 accounts but that is still "poor." I think you need something absurd like 20 or more to get an excellent rating in that section.

Age is average across all accounts and counts for a little bit more but is still way less impactful than derogatory marks, payment history, and credit utilization. A better way to improve your score is to lower your credit utilization by asking your already open credit channels for credit increases (call or go in-person which will probably be a soft pull rather than a hard pull which can affect your credit if you have too many)

Unusable how? I use it almost every day and while I don't like all their updates, I can't say I like all of DW either.

First off, you typically want to ignore those preapproved notices. In fact, you may want to look into opting out of those when possible because they are doing a soft check on your credit that can actually hurt your credit score slightly for a few months.

However, what is causing your score to be low is definitely the loan. It's a newish account still and adds a large balance. The age is the fact that it has only a short record of payment so far. The number is in the fact that you have three accounts and don't have any records of not paying something in full yet. Keep things as they are, once that loan is paid off, your score is likely to end up higher than the original position since the successful payment and closing of the loan will boost it.

Also, bear in mind that 650 isn't something to worry about yet. You're still establishing your credit, but what you do have is good. The rest just takes time.

Along with what everyone else said, 'pre-approved' doesn't actually mean you've been approved to get the card. When I was trying to get my first credit card, I applied for a 'pre-approved' card and got rejected. Applying for anything (loans, credit cards, etc) and getting rejected hurts your credit.

So yeah shred it.

a couple of random things i came across about sign language while playing a deaf character:
- british and american sign languages are NOT mutually intelligible
- lots of / flashy jewellery can make signing difficult to follow
- deaf people who grow up without someone to teach them signing and where writing is impractical can end up essentially isolated in their own minds
- lots of things don't actually have a specific word in sign language and are instead fingerspelled
- it's not uncommon for signs requiring two free hands to be adapted to use just one if the person is holding something at the time
- puns in sign language are absolutely a thing, e.g pasteurised milk, the word 'understand', etc

i've got ~lagos and probably won't use it if you want that

what do you consider medium divide? i look for games with a good amount of a bunch of different media types and only consider a game "snobby" if it has a disproportionate amount of one type of media.

You know actually, I had something sort of weird like that happen a while back. I was out doing some trail scouting, and I was out in the middle of nowhere figuring out where we were gonna have this trail run through. I hadn't seen anyone else for probably a good two hours, so I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going, I was just looking at the ground for the most part. Then out of nowhere, I crested this little hill and almost ran into this guy. He was older, probably in his sixties, and I started to apologize to him for running into him. And then I noticed his face, and I probably looked like a complete douchebag because I stopped and just stared at him. It took me a second to figure out what was wrong, but this guy's face was huge. I know that sounds weird, but that's the only way I can describe it. His head wasn't big or anything, it was normal, but the amount of space his face took up was just way too much. Like if you took someone's face and enlarged it all by about two times. He doesn't say anything, he just kind of looks at me, and I backed up and was kind of stuttering and saying I was sorry, and I went around him and fucking got out of there and did what I needed to do. The whole time, I kept looking behind me because I was so freaked out that he'd pop up behind me or something. I know it sounds ridiculous but I swear to you it was one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.

Route 29 is switching to a comm game and getting a fresh coat of paint at the end of the month and has always had a really minimal medium divide, if any at all.

Really? I mean yeah she's definitely got a varied player base but I was hoping for something a bit less toxic.

considering people can just not read anything that they don't care to see, that's pants on head stupid. hope whoever it was isn't actually in the game. i'd hate to think i share a game with such a huge babe of the tit.

the far shore leans animu heavy but from what i've seen there's no medium divide issue & lots of cross-canon interaction. it's small but the randomized partnership mechanic is great for getting characters involved.

seconding the question above, though, give us a few examples of what you'd consider medium divide so we have a better idea of what you're looking for?

yeah it helps. i usually get a burst of energy following several days of moldering and make good enough headway, it's just this backlog of crap i hit periodically.

been there done that, it's just good old chronic depression issues.
they come and go. sometimes i jut have to wait them out.

ah, nosleep classics

there's absolutely a variety of characters & even the soldiers aren't bland

like, solid snake, the main character of most of the games, seems like a pretty normal gruff soldier dude... except he's kind of sweet and very philosophical and likes movies and has strong opinions on the ability of technology to preserve the human experience, and he loves dogs and he loves languages and values love itself deeply. he's great! And he's entirely unique in the series! his dad (the protag of most of the other games) is nothing at all like him, aside from being handsome and scruffy and good at fighting-- they have entirely different philosophies and feelings about love and war and dumb movies-- and they're nothing like anyone else.

There's great female characters, there's great bisexual and gay characters, there's tons of antagonists that are doing what they think is the best thing to do to improve the world, there's so many viewpoints and interests spread over the various characters and LOOK PLAY THESE GAMES OKAY. THEY'RE REALLY GOOD. or at least mgs 1-3 are really good, and funny and touching and serious as hell and truly ridiculous.

Yeah, Ryslig is glacial. There might be a bit of boomeranging from some players during the start of an event or network post but overall it's very very slow.

Really though, pretty much every game is slow nowadays due to the shift in focus to backtagging and the fact that a vocal minority will howl about how they're being excluded if any game these days has an AC higher than 20 comments.

the mod team's been running the game into the ground for at least half a year, so i'm not surprised if that's true.

i mean now they're adding a new faction when the gods, the political scene, mana, and even the bb's aren't that well-defined? come on now. we've got enough npcs to fuck around with; we don't need more.

I think in the next episode or two she'll have a bigger part, and I think the manga has an extra chapter focused specifically on her.
