and? the flakes will drop because they can't keep up with it, because unlike other games, this will actually make them be active or they'll have to leave. i think if they're limiting themselves to a small game to offer mod presence, they'd be willing to nudge someone for a bit before realizing that a boot was more needed than a nudge. quality, not quantity.

but hey, it's also for ocs, too. not jack frost as a native, but actual made for the game ocs. and those are icky, so that should keep out a lot of fandom snobs.

I think threading with you is the one thing that's kept me in DWRP, and it's both good and bad. On the one hand, DWRP as a whole makes me feel nuts. Its culture is insane and, sometimes, I wonder if I'd be better off leaving. On the other, I look forward to threading with you. It's honestly a monthly highlight; at times, it relieved a large amount of stress and saw me through some very rough patches in these past months.

You know the friendship between Basil Rathbone and Christopher Lee? I feel kind of like we're that, except we don't know each other OOCly. I think I intimidate people with the characters I play, so I'd probably be Lee and you'd be Rathbone. We're not churning out gold, but we're having fun. I feel comfortable enough to tag you for whatever strange stuff pops into my head, and you never shy away from playing it. I'm very certain we read each other's stuff, so we've reached this odd place of mutual respect. Like with Basil and Chris, I'm very afraid that this sort of thing is once-in-a-lifetime. If I left DWRP, I feel like I might never find something like this again.

I'm glad you'll nudge people on AC. My main concern regarding only a check-in is that, if the player cap is hit, someone might squat a character they're no longer interested in in order to keep their player slot until they find another character they ARE interested in.

I'm glad you already thought up a rule like that about points - I only thought of it because a game I was in recently had an event that involved something similar and a few players were...well, pretty obnoxious with the begging.

And regarding death, that sounds like a good system and I'm so, so glad that important stuff like that won't be left to RNG.

what will the app standards be like, if there's going to be a low player cap?

and if you, say, have a 30 cap and get 35 apps, will you accept the best 30, or process in order until you accept 30?
