rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Hello while we thank you for your possible interest, we would like to also address your concerns.

App-Mods are separate from mods and their only duties would be to accept, reject, or request revision from applications while also assigning monsters to the muns. App-mods would not have to deal with any major issues.

As for having mods that only deal with lists and maintenance and general upkeep while not dealing with issues among players or plot, we do have mods take over specific aspects that they feel most comfortable with, but our reason for all of us deciding on big issues like plot and players is for several reasons.

We don't want important decisions to rest on just one mod as that will quickly lead to burnout and puts a lot of pressure on one person while a team allows for conversation. It also prevents one mod having too much power when all things are made as a joint decision while also providing a united front for mods and players. Furthermore, when a mod goes on hiatus, which does happen, it means the game can still run smoothly as the other mods will still be able to make decisions and one aspect of the game won't come to a standstill while a mod is away.

We understand that such a thing can seem difficult, but no one would be making any hard decisions alone nor dealing with anything difficult alone, which is our goal.

If the game gets truly large, we may invest in having core-mods and mods just to help maintain the smaller things, but at the moment, we feel it is best for our mods to all be able to pitch in where it matters most since there is no guarantee what the size of the game will be.
