It took a while but I'm having fun with it. The combos are complicated and you need to have very good timing on your counter-moves though.

I'd like to try out other classes but the two-slot minimum is a real pain. I've only tipped my toe into Assassin but so far it feels like an easier KFM. What does Force Master play like? Is there much counterplay or is it "blow them up before they reach you?"

i'm waiting to upgrade my rig so my frames don't drop to 15 the more hectic parts of e.fleet and pvp. but i've always wanted to try kfm just my time is not now.

force master is pretty much ranged dps/sorcerer and extremely squishy. we're weak as hell right now since most of our op skills are locked to hongmoon level 5 or legendary books. though we get to instant cast our 12k kamehameha twice once we get our good shit. right now we have a lot of stun/freeze spells, parry/defense piercing abilities, i-frame spells for caster and party, etc. we have no counter abilities at all and you're pretty much right lol. idk if i'm doing it wrong tho, but i pull aggro sometimes with the amount of dps i have even if i'm in a party that has an equally aggressive destroyer, summoner, or kfm.

I will say about KFM that I have no goddamn clue what I'm supposed to be in a party. I've been told they can build either tank or DPS. They do have some threat-generation upgrades on their skill tree but I imagine it would be really hard because so much of KFM's defense is front-loaded onto their Counter ability. As far as DPS goes, I don't know how it compares to pure DPS classes like Destroyer or Force Master. At least with FM it's exactly what you expect it will be.

I've also read that KFM got hit hard with damage nerfs that drop it out of top-tier play, but being a new player I don't really have a baseline for that assertion.

off-tank, i feel. depending on how familiar you are with the instance boss or mobs, you should be able to counter anything after a few runs. though in reality any character can be dps or tank, considering there's no real set classes in bns yanno? with the patch on wednesday every class is going to even out.

oh yeah def, like i see a lot of KFMs struggle in misty woods pvp or some instances like blackram supply. though check your final skills that are locked to hongmoon levels and the like. also, if you want i'd really love to spar with your kfm. surprisingly, we only have one kfm in our guild and they're afk as hell 99% of the time. my character name is kirssi!
